I found the Intercontinental Tahiti Resort and spa to be great. Great greeting from staff upon arrival. Very knowledgeable concierge Teiva Milz a wealth of information. Shuttles to and from town were much appreciated even if you had to pay ($5) each way. Much cheaper than a c

I’m here for business and the Intercontinental Hotel is definitely a premier hotel in Tahiti. Very polite and attentive staff, relaxed atmosphere and well kept up.

But, it is an Intercontinental Hotel and that means everything comes at a premium price. So if monetary value is i

I got a day pass while on a 12 hour layover in Papeete. So worth it for a huge buffet breakfast, chair and towel, pool access, and lunch. I got there early to claim a chair before the cruise ships came in and the place got swarmed. I got to meet a bunch of cool people who were al

We had a superior room overlooking gardens to the lagoon beyond; it was very quiet. The room, amenities and location were all excellent, quite a way from the reception area which was nice. The pool, gardens and bars are well staffed and beautifully kept. Breakfast very good, rece

Will I need an adapter to charge my iPhone? What kind if I do?
It is more convenient I found to have my own, so I can’t answer the question to 100% certainty, but typically hotels of such caliber have adapters to provide to guests

Can anyone tell me how often the hotel shuttle runs to downtown, how late does it run, and how much does it cost?
Unfortunately, I didn't take advantage of the shuttle to downtown Papeete; however, I did take an excursion that rode through there. There is a market there on specific days and you can catch the ferry from there to Moorea. While what I saw from the bus was enough for me, the bus driver did talk about activities that were happening there that we may want to see.

Is this close to the cruise ship?
I think everyone has already given the answers! Yes, a taxi ride is the best option.

RE:Transit rooms: 10 am to 5 pm before 8pm return flight home to LA. I am considering booking a transit room (14 days before) to secure our room. If you are a loyality member does this get you anything? I was told lunch, pool acess ,room, pick up from cruise ship, and airport drop is included, however... are drinks for the day also included and snacks too? can we use the kayaks? paddleboards?internet? Thanks this is our fist time to Tahiti.
Hello, unfortunately I am not sure about what is included as we had a regular room. If drinks are not included be careful because they average about $25 each! You might want to email the hotel for confirmation. Enjoy Your trip!
