not very good breakfast. fruit was opened can of fruit cocktail very unappealing. Should have fresh fruit. Cereal was old and stale. Orange juice was not real. Flavored sugar water and colored orange is my guess. Coffee was okay.

The motel is up several sets of stairs and a steep driveway, above the airport. It's possible to circle around and use the driveway to avoid a bunch of the stairs. Hotel is very basis, but has friendly staff and provides ample pastries and bread for breakfast prior to your

Nice budget option for a one night stay, the bed was very comfortable and there is a nice view of the ocean from some rooms and the lobby. We have stayed in 2 other budget accomodations in Papeete for 1 night prior to starting a cruise and this was had the quietest rooms by

Like almost all other reviews, we stayed at this hotel in between flights. It was clean, air conditioning worked great and breakfast was fine, good chocolate croissants! We woke up early and decided to explore the public market, since we were not spending any other time in

NOT fancy at all and the breakfast is less than encompassing but check in was efficient. The rooms are suprisingly large for "motel" designation. If past reviews complained about the lobby, be aware that it is now fully enclosed with A/C that works. We used this place like

they don't have a day room system. We tried to check in at noon, and they wanted to charge an additional $50. We were told normal checkin was at 2pm. Thankfully, a room opened up at 1pm, and they let us check in at 1pm. Our flight was leaving at midnight, and at the last minute was cancelled. The hotel staff were very accommodating, and let us have our room back without any additional charge.

I saw the cruise terminal/docks right in the city centre- it is a massive and impressive looking building (totally unexpected location and presentation!). The Tahiti Airport Motel is just a short walk down a slightly rough driveway to the main road that goes into town. I saw a bus stop there and have no doubt that it will have very regular bus service into the city. If I was you, I would stay at the Tahiti Airport Motel (especially if you arrive at night and want to save money- it's cheap for Tahiti and clean) then ask at reception about the bus. If the bus option turns out to be 'too hard' (which I very much doubt), there are taxis that hang around the motel. Good luck!

Is there an elevator to get to rooms above the first floor?
Yes there is an elevator, but you have to walk up a few steps to get to it, there is no ramp.
