Although the location is suppose to be convenient it does not have an airport shuttle nor any nearby food and beverage. There are some snacks and cold drinks for sale at the front desk but that is all. Very basic budget hotel. No amenities like shampoo, had to ask for hair

I stayed here on way in to go to Bora Bora the next day and also when I left for a night . It’s very convenient right across the street but the front desk staff act like they are doing you a favour - no hospitality. Rooms are clean and simple, breakfast is mediocre - save your

As seen in attached photo, this hotel is so close to airport that you can see from your flight on runway. As you get out of airport, cross the small car park, take stairs up to the city road, cross the road and take another set of stairs to the motel. Simple! Unless you are

We just needed a room for the night. We arrived at 10pm and the next day we would be heading to Moorea so we just wanted something convenient. It was okay. It is true you really can't walk there with luggage (maybe in the daylight and with very little luggage). We opted for

they don't have a day room system. We tried to check in at noon, and they wanted to charge an additional $50. We were told normal checkin was at 2pm. Thankfully, a room opened up at 1pm, and they let us check in at 1pm. Our flight was leaving at midnight, and at the last minute was cancelled. The hotel staff were very accommodating, and let us have our room back without any additional charge.

I saw the cruise terminal/docks right in the city centre- it is a massive and impressive looking building (totally unexpected location and presentation!). The Tahiti Airport Motel is just a short walk down a slightly rough driveway to the main road that goes into town. I saw a bus stop there and have no doubt that it will have very regular bus service into the city. If I was you, I would stay at the Tahiti Airport Motel (especially if you arrive at night and want to save money- it's cheap for Tahiti and clean) then ask at reception about the bus. If the bus option turns out to be 'too hard' (which I very much doubt), there are taxis that hang around the motel. Good luck!

Is there an elevator to get to rooms above the first floor?
Yes there is an elevator, but you have to walk up a few steps to get to it, there is no ramp.
