This is by far the best place I stayed at in Greece. Everything is perfect - the view, the staff, the pool area, the surroundings. Its so beautiful, no picture can describe the general feeling of the place. We will for sure return, hopefully very...More
Great facility & staff. Food very good, the rooms were unique and the grounds beautiful. The cost of the rooms are high by Crete standards but it was worth it. Go to the pottery village if you stay here.

From the Kapsaliana Village Hotel you can cross the island to the south coast through the Amari valley which is a very nice drive. You will end op whether in Spili or even in Aghia Galini which is close to Phaestos and Matala. It takes maybe a bit longer then when you pass from Rethymnon but it is worthwhile. You need 1 1/2 hour more or less.
