Wonderful facilities, excellent restraunt. Nice and quiet accommodation spacious and well serviced. Good sized balcony , spoilt by traffic noise going by especially motorbikes.
Location stunning views but some distance from Funchal and good bus service.

If you are walking levadas you need waterproifs and good strong shoes or boots because the tunnels are sometimes wet
