We had a fabulous holiday at this resort last August. Friendly and professional staff, tasty food and wonderful activities. Consistently sunny weather every day and no rain. The cycling had some tough but very rewarding routes, the water sports were well organised and the restaurants...More
We can't rave enough about the Neilson Beachclub package and the Aeolian Village was an excellent location to try out our first all inclusive activity holiday.
We were nervous about the all inclusive food aspect, expecting mediocre food and not enough variety. However, the food...More
Great facilities. The staff were great across the board, they were always helpful & friendly. Our stay was over the final week of the season, at no time was the service compromised. As a level 1 dingy sailor I can recommend the tuition & the...More

No noticeable effect. The migrants land on the N side of Lesvos in the Mytiline area. The Neilson resort Skala Eressos is on the opposite side of the island and with next to no public transport or traffic I doubt any migrants would have any interest in attempting. Most if not all are in need of assistance and are held in camps after crossing from Turkey. The lucky ones are relocated to other destinations in Greece but this is a slow process meaning many are effectively stranded in the camps. Migrants are still arriving in fairly large numbers despite attempts to stop this. I'm sure the people of Lesvos would welcome your support by giving them some some custom and no reason not to go. Enjoyed a peaceful laid-back holiday at the Club recently.
