Our tour left directly from the lodge and gave the option of returning to the lodge or the visitor center. The property shuttles between the lodge and visitor center run all day and well into the evening so there is no problem with connections. Our tour was an early tour so we had time to see the dog show afterwards and got dropped off at the visitor center on the return for that reason. We then took a later shuttle back to the lodge.

Thank you for your inquiry, and we are looking forward to seeing you next year. Your timing will geatly depend upon which tour pattern you selected when you booked. It sounds like you are disembarking the ship and boaring a motorcoach for the drive. You will probably arrive around 5 pm and then depart the following morning or early afternoon. You may not have time to venture far into the Park with this timeline. If you are interested in taking hte Tundra Wilderness Tour in the the National Park, I would suggest extending your trip to include a 2-night stay in Denali so that you have the opportunity to explore a bit more.
