We rented a creek side cabin. The cabin itself was nothing special, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The sound of the creek outside the room was so peaceful. They had Adirondack chairs, so we could sit by the creek. They have an onsite restaurant, which is very convenient because there isn't much in the area. The food...

Cheap rates, local annual chili Cook off is a blast. Very cozy cabins and the firepit by the creek in the evening was a very welcome respite from a hectic-but fun!-Tour schedule. We also enjoyed the ATV tours at Black Diamond the front desk staff helped us book.

We drove to Denali from Anchorage and then stayed at McKinley Creekside Cabins for two nights. We spent the whole next day at Denali and left in the morning of the day after. We had a cabin by the creek, which is actually half of a cabin. It was sufficient for two people, had a bed, a fridge, a coffee...

Booked a room in the two story lodge ... Overlooked (partially) the river which was nice and had a little deck, but had to lug the bags up quite a few stairs. Would try to get in a cabin next time ( the ones we wanted were fully booked) as they looked lovely with deck chairs sitting out on the...

Four of us (2 adults + 2 children) stay in their chalet for 2 nights and it was much more than expected. The chalet was cosy, clean and could acomodate 6 people. Great kitchen, coffee, sugar and a coffee machine provided. Bathroom amenities as well. The cafe on the same property serves one of the best meals in town. On...

Stayed only one night before heading off to Denali Wilderness Park. The cabin was very roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The big surprise was the quality of the food in the café. To this day it was the best tasting salmon we had together with the guinness beef pie. All home made and all very very delicious. Followed...

The McKinley Creekside Cabin was the perfect place from which to visit Denali National Park. Our cabin was right beside the creek and had a small porch with a table and chairs. We also enjoyed eating at their café -- good food and reasonable prices. The staff was helpful with suggestions and very positive. We were only a few miles...

We stayed there the last night they were open for business, everything between Takeetna and Fairbanks shuts down for the winter around the second week of September. That means lodging, food, even Subway, and shops. The only thing open in Denali after that are the gas stations and the one lodge operated by Princess cruises. The cabins are very bare...

Thank you taking time to post a review. I think we may have had a cocktail at the campfire! And yes Alaska is very expensive, but I will just add if you compare our prices to the larger operators we are significantly less...and have so much personality...and did I mention good looking? Have a great 2017!

We stayed 2 nights at the McKinley Creekside Cabins. The cabin had 2 beds, a little bathroom and a cute little deck. The area around it was full of pretty flowers and we had a swing almost outside our door. The cabin itself was rustic but had all the modern conveniences as well as a terrific heating system. The parking...

We stayed for 3 nights and it as fine! Wish they would have woken us up for the Aurora-- we missed it on a very clear night! Clean and comfy! Good food at their restaurant too! Thank you, we are glad you enjoyed the cabin and cafe, which is the heart of our place. I agree we should have an Aurora call, perhaps at 4+ ...I'm going to work on this. The northern lights were incredible this past fall, some of the best we have seen. The Denali Backcountry Adventure is an excellent way to see...
