Reception in particular Alexandra was very helpful and informative of activities and facilities and very welcoming on arrival.

Everyone speaks English at the hotel, restaurants, bars etc. I don't know if you can book excursions from the hotel but we did see leaflets at Reception so I would think so. The open top bus tour starts just down the road. Corfu Old Town is a lovely place to visit with winding alleys and shops with gifts, souvenirs, clothes, jewellery etc.
