From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful lobby area, warm welcome, and attentive service from the staff.

The hotel's location is perfect, offering a serene retreat with its private beach, The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the nightly delivery of water bottles to our room. The breakfast buffet was a highlight of our stay, offering a wide variety of delicious options and made-to-order coffee, and eggs.

The beach facilities were excellent, with comfortable loungers, towels, and complimentary water provided. I highly appreciate the staff that is working tirelessly in the hot summer days.

While the beach restaurant was a little bit pricey, the convenience, with feet dug into the sand, and the quality of the food made it worthwhile.

Overall, Patmos Aktis Suites and Spa Hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service. The staff's dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction was evident throughout our stay. We're already looking forward to our next visit to this beautiful resort.

We had a five day stay in one of the suites. Overall the hotel is nice and comfortable, but when you are hosting five star customers you have to make sure that treatment and service is five star too.
Generally speaking the staff was good. The ones working at the breakfast section were efficient, professionally oriented and friendly. They did a perfect job. Reception generally was OK. They did a good job in coordinating taxi requests. However our requests pertaining to house keeping and room service were not coordinated well which led to frustration. Follow up to check whether the request of customers have been fulfilled is important and must be addressed.
House-keeping, cleaning the rooms and replacing daily toiletry kits are the weakest part of service we experienced. We were shocked to see that our suite was broomed with dust flying all over the place. When we requested a vacuum cleaner they had to fetch one from some place else which took 15-20 minutes to come. Toiletry kits during our 5 day stay was only replaced once and that was upon our personel request. Towels, sheets were new and clean that conformed to a five star standard.
Another flaw we came across was with the wellness center. We wanted to book a massage. The phone didn't answer. Went down to personally book a massage. Couldn't find anybody. After two tries we decided not to have the massage. On another occasion I found the indoor pool to be very cold. In five star hotels indoor pools are normally kept at a degree comfortable to enter.
Finally would I visit this hotel again? High season prices are relatively high. We booked one week in advance therefore we couldn't get a good deal. I am sure if booked a few months in advance it would be possible to get a much better deal. In such case I wouldn't stay in another hotel. Overall it was nice staying here. By the way, for new comers, Patmos is a beautiful, calm and peaceful island. Benetos and To Kyma are two restaurants that shouldn't be missed.

With had a room with private pool which was lovely. The room was a good size and had a lounge area which was also spacious, as was the patio.
The staff were all delightful and always extremely helpful and did try to resolve issues when we pointed them out.
Breakfast is a buffet and there was a huge choice which they kept well stocked and refilled quite quickly.
The communal pool is lovely but seemed to hardly be used which was great for me. I also had a treatment at the spa which was expensive but very good.
The beach is perfect with plenty of comfy beds, shade, and calm seas – it’s the best bit in the hotel.
So why 4 and not 5 out of 5? I don’t expect to find black mold in the shower of a hotel of this standard. They cleaned it away but it should never have been there. Scuffed paintwork. Some instances of style over practicality – not enough places to hang towels where the hand basins are. Nowhere to dry wet beach towels. Light bulbs not working.
Housekeeping or senior staff really need to regularly inspect for things like that.
Would we stay there again? We would because of the location and beach, and because Patmos is charming.

It’s taken me a few days to decide whether this hotel should be allocated 4 or 5 stars, but in the end I opted for 5 because the 2 irritations didn’t warrant the loss of a star - half maybe, but not one.

Let’s start with those two issues. Rooms are ridiculously small. We had a two-bedroom suite, which comprised two bedrooms and a living room, each smaller than the next. Total size can’t have been much more than 42m2…… in reality, this should be a one bedroom suite. It turns out that all the suites and rooms in the main building are minuscule, but the stand-alone villas are much bigger - almost double the size, many with pool, and quite wonderful. This said, the view was spectacular, the rooms impeccably clean, strong shower pressure and lovely amenities.

Second issue was an arrogant, cocky little kid, seemingly of Australian-Greek descent, masquerading as a fully trained Receptionist. She told one of our party “why have you come to the hotel with an attitude?” No matter what the circumstances, it is not for any staff member to use provocative and disrespectful language to a customer……btw, at no point did she proffer an apology to the person concerned, so yet a further testimony to her lack of maturity, experience and training.

The plus points are numerous. Incredibly warm, professional and friendly staff throughout the hotel, who couldn’t do enough to assist and make the stay extremely memorable. They are an asset to the hotel. Interestingly, a few of them were clearly new to their role and lacked a bit of confidence, but their obvious willingness to please and improve shone through, to create an entire team that really does lead me to say “the best we have encountered in the whole of Greece.” The charm of the elegant and delightful Guest Relations lady, the expertise of the GM and Rooms Divisions Manager all the way thru F&B, housekeeping, beach staff and others - a pure delight that makes a huge impact on us.

Delicious food in all of the outlets, cooked as we asked it with no flaws. Unbelievably, every single order for our party of 7 was correct every time. That’s excellent work from the wait-staff and good communication with the kitchen. Even the drinks were made to perfection.

The beach is spectacular, sun-beds well spaced from each other, beautiful calm sea and a vista of unmatched levels.

So, if you’re looking for true 5* service on a Greek island, with an exceptional product, look no further.

Amazing experience and they saved us, we had made the tragic decision to book with this other hotel called 9 muses which say they are a 5 star hotel they are not. This hotel is, first of all just the drive in and the reception is a 5 stra resort, you feel like you are on holiday, the smells, the sounds everything. They were nice enough to let us choose between 2 rooms, and we chose the one with the swim up pool, even though the pool was public, hardly anyone went in, so it felt very private. The breakfast was impeccable, even though the service at the breakfast was a bit slow. Lovely shower, great taverns on the beach next door, staff very willing to help you in any way, one even offered to go shop my groceries as he was going that way. We actually extended our stay because of how relaxed we felt. Definitely the only hotel I will be staying in in Patmos

Arrived here for a wedding on June 27th. Took the 3pm ferry from Athena to Pátmos in my room by 11:45pm. Check in at reception was easy kind and understanding traveling from NYC. 8hr ferry to Pátmos worth it! Breakfast starts at 7:30AM. That is huge, fresh fruit daily variety of healthy food. Morning staff friendly the Freddo cappuccino you must have it! Vibe on this Island is amazing felt welcomed and was able to unplug!!!

Beach staff made sure we had what we needed, simple quiet peaceful a great place to run, swim or just go for a hike/walk.

I would absolute come back to this boutique on the water peaceful and unplug. No loud talking not many Americans which is double bonus 10-15 min walk to Petra Beach gotta go here.
Thank you Aktis for your service and hosting the wedding guests. Room#4 was perfection!

Only upgrade I would recommend is to open the gym earlier like 7AM for those who workout and a bit more free weights.

We have been staying at this hotel for over 5 years missing out 2020 due to Covid. We were so delighted to be back this year in June for 3 weeks and could have stayed 3 months. We are well travelled and have stayed in some amazing hotels but Patmos Aktis has a special place in our hearts. The atmosphere is laid back and we could define it as understated luxury. Everything from the incredible staff who are so kind and welcoming and go above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect to the location on Grikos Beach a unique spot on Patmos with crystal clear turquoise waters close by. The taverna serves good food and the massages by Crista at the spa are simply extraordinary. Thank you Dionysia, Athena, Lea for your efforts and kindness, you and your team have raised the bar very high. A special thanks to Vassilis for picking us up at Skala and taking us back on departure which was a sad day~:-( We hope we will be back soon.

This was our 6th visit to Patmos Aktis and we were so happy to be back New owners and management with some familiar faces we were happy to see. Due to covid they have had to hire a lot of new staff who were all trying their best to please. The reception is run by the very efficient Dionysea who also happens to be charming. The location is superb on Grikos beach with functional spacious rooms and comfortable beds, the quality of the bed linen and towels is first rate. Good choice for breakfast, tasty Greek food at the taverna and there is a diverse bar menu. The main restaurant is work in progress since we arrived a few days after the opening but we had some excellent dishes. As always we were sad to leave but hope we will be back:-)

We stayed at Atkis for the second time to feel it's relaxed, democratic sophistication and luxury and to experience some great food. Breakfast never disappoints and offers a wide range of options to choose from while enjoying the unforgettable view of Grikos Bay.

Both the restaurant menu and the bar food menu are excellent. For when you fancy some traditional dishes there is a taverna next to the hotel so Atkis offers a wide range of food options to choose from.

The hotel is perfectly located for relaxing on the beach, using the spa or gong for hicking trips. The views are worth one or two hiking trips. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here are 9 nights and are like a looking forward to staying here again.

We loved the hotel - we had a fabulous room with a private plunge pool but spent a lot of time at the beach, where as soon as you arrived a member of staff organised a sunbed and ice water. It was the little attention to detail and the great service from the staff that went a long way to making our stay enjoyable, but the Front Office Manager, Manolis Kamilakis, made our stay really memorable. He overheard us talking about our 42nd wedding anniversary which was the day we came, and organised champagne, fruit and a lovely letter to be waiting for us in our room. Food, service and ambiance were first class and I unhesitatingly recommend this hotel.
