This hotel was clean and comfortable and well situated. Lovely staff .... Especially lady on breakfast every day. Regardless of hotel we want to stress thAt Lesvos is safe. They are lovely people.. They cared for the refugees and now they are suffering because tourist numbers are wAy way down. It's s sAfe beautiful island and probably cheAp right now....

This year in May my wife and I stayed for the fifth time in Pela Hotel. Again it felt like coming home. We got a very warm welcome by Thekla and her father. During our stay they and the rest of the staff did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast was good, we had a nice room...

Located a few yards from the beach and the kalloni pool on the outskirts of the village of Scala Kalloni but an easy stroll into the centre. The rooms are pleasant and kept very clean, there are lovely views especially from the terrace where you can take your meals. There is a good choice of food in the restaurant a...

Amazing island and the friendliest people who inhabit it. PLEASE do NOT be put off by the publicity about the refugees on the island. Yes, they are there, but are housed in camps well away from the tourists. Shame really... Skala Kalloni is in the bay of Kalloni in the south. Calm seas and mild climate. The Pela hotel is...

Hotel is well run by the Greek family who own the hotel. Exaggerated news regarding migrants is adversely affecting the island's tourist trade which is grossly unfair on the islanders who rely on the tourist trade! The television news refers to Lesbos as a small island whereas it is third largest of the Greek Islands. We spent 6 weeks on...

YES, there have been many refugees ,NO, there are no issues for tourists. I have been on the island for 10 days and have visited the refugee hotspot of Molyvos THERE ARE...

This is our 3rd year hear....unlike some who have been here for the last 20 years purely for the beauty of this traditional greek island. Everyone said...."ooooh no that's where all the migrants are". I have not seen one life jacket or migrant. Yes they may have been but the media have done their best to ruin the lively hoods...

This hotel is clean, friendly and the best I have stayed in, in skala kallonis, from the moment we arrived to the time we left, we were made very welcome and nothing is too much trouble, if there is something you need just ask. The staff will do there very best to accommodate you, as the title says Just Perfect!

Since for visiting Kalloni in 1993 and our fourth stay at the Pela Hotel, I can now understand why some folk complain. The service of this official two star establishment is far beyond what is expected. Complain. The location is just so good, near the beach & a stroll to the village. Complain. The standard of food for breakfast is...
