Once again, we are coming towards the end of yet another fantastic holiday in this hotel. Lovely friendly staff, spotlessly clean. Wonderful large pool which is again spotless. We have been spoiled with the choice of food for breakfast. The hotel is just across from the sandy beach, and short leisurely stroll from the local square and restaurants. In spite...

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come to Lesvos and enjoy this wonderful, beautiful island!!!! We stayed at the Kalloni Bay last week and were not disappointed, our room was neat, tidy and light and although the bathroom a little tired we had loads of hot water and everything worked just fine. We were on half board and although the breakfast were simple...

My wife and I visited Lesvos for the first time for a week at the beginning of May. A few friends told us we must be mad to go but, boy, were we glad we ignored them. Sadly we booked earlier than when the prices dropped but in no way were we short changed. Lesvos is safe ,safe ,safe. The...

This was our 4th stay at the Kalloni Bay, although I have reviewed previously, I feel that because Lesvos is getting unwelcome media attention that I can only re-iterate what a great little hotel this is. The staff are wonderful, always friendly and helpful. We had a half board deal this time and the food as always, was great Greek...

Our 3rd time to the Kalloni Bay and its just as the other reviewers have commented clean, everybody so friendly. The island really needs our help the bookings are down due to the media and travel companies pulling out or delaying the holiday period, its not just the hotels that are losing out its everybody, fishermen, shops, farmers EVERYBODY is suffering....

Over the door is the message "Come as guests, leave as friends". We did. Do not worry about the migrant crisis. The island and the hotel are entirely safe, entirely beautiful. We loved our stay at this most friendly of hotels. The friendliness is the outstanding feature, along with two gorgeous swimming pools and very good food.

We stayed at the Kalloni Bay for one week in mid-April this year. The hotel is exactly what you want and expect in a typical Greek Island resort. The rooms are a good size, comfortable and spotlessly clean. A fridge keeps water and snacks cool. The staff were outstanding with friendly maids through to reception and the bar / waiter...

Lesvos is a beautiful island and needs our support right now. There is no longer any sign of the recent migrant influx except that holidaymakers are staying away. The islanders have done a splendid job clearing up and have been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for their compassion. Such a shame that they are suffering economically as a result...

We were a little concerned this year in relation to the migrant crisis and didn't really know what to expect. We needn't have worried. There is nothing to suggest that there has been a problem at all. The Island is looking as lovely as ever with all the flowers and birds still there and wonderful to see and watch. The...

The decor is a little tired in places, but the rooms were of a good size spotless, the beds comfortable, and the linen frequently changed. Although the buffet style meals did not strike me as being particularly Greek and lacking somewhat in variety, the food was plentiful and well cooked, the meat especially being outstanding and always tender. However, the...
