We stayed in the touring park for 4 nights. Site is a little run down but I believe that a major refurb is taking place in the closed season. Staff very friendly and approachable. Pitches were spacious. Site was very quiet so not sure what it would be like when busy. Will definitely return and look forward to seeing the...

Stayed in a Bronze Plus caravan for a friends birthday at the beginning of September for a long weekend. Accommodation was filthy - badly stained upholstery in the lounge, gas fire had not been cleaned in months & months, filthy floor down side of fridge (large gap and very easily accessible!), kitchen tap leaked/dripped constantly, Kettle leaked when pouring -...

Stayed for 4 nights in a bronze static in mid-September.The site was really quiet. Obviously not much to to do on site except swim and have a drink. Good point, we could park next to the van, Transport essential as no sign of a bus. On a narrow country road which must be a rat-run as very busy. Near to...

Stayed here 3 nights. Site has just been taken over by park holidays. We have stayed before and I had said never again but we decided to give it another try. As somewhere for a few nights break it is ok. Possibly will improve after this winter when it is closed for refurbishment. The toilet blocks def need an update,...

We have 3 bronze caravans between our extended family. All three caravans are filthy dirty and lacking in equipment such as a frying pan. One van has broken heating, another has a leaking tap. There was rotten fruit left in the other van, two of the vans fireplaces are broken, traces of faeces on the loo brush, broken waste pipe...

Bronze caravan so not expecting ting much but wow so dirty. Spent 3 hours cleaning handfuls of dog hair up, inches of black mould everywhere and just general smelly greasy gunk. Reception totally disinterested and offered cleaning fluids and hoover a no show. Stuck it out for a few days. Yuck.

Lovely Park Holidays site to take your van, nice camping area, clean showers, friendly staff and to top all that a nice small pool area. Play area looked good too, although ours are now too old to use it. I am sure we will making another visit.

I read other reviews which said that the site previously known as two chimneys had deteriorated so we weren't going to risk it but there was no where else in the area taking a large tent so we took the risk! So pleased we did. we loved two chimneys. we love birchington vale. seems just as good, maybe even better....

We went in July 2016 for 3 nights in a Trailer Tent with children aged 6 and 2 years of age! It's a camping site with small main facilities for a £40-£60 stay depending on what time of year? Cannot complain! Toilets and shower\washing facilities are adequate and were clean when we stayed! Staff are really friendly and helpful! Pool...

They have the most brilliant receptionists especially "Hannah" I stayed for the first time this year in March and continue to regularly go there, not for its amazing facilities, or park activities, there ok but not the best, but the...
