Visited for a couple of nights on family business. We have a couple of dogs/child replacements and needed to bring them with us and this is the ideal place. Jane is very welcoming, the room is fine, her dogs are lovely, and the beach and the grass along the promenade is great for dog walking. The café is open all...

This is a real find. Steve and Jane are so welcoming and it felt really friendly and personal. There is a sheltered patio at the back for outside dining and they have plans for seafront seating. Definitely worth a visit instead of just going to The Minnis next door which is nice but very slow service.

We were sort of the "customers from hell" - just 2 nights, with a dog, arriving late etc. They were great; excellent room, good breakfast, friendly and extremely helpful - bonuses please for Gemima and the 2 kids. Ate lunch there one day - again- great. Very good value too. Room 4 very well adapted for wheelchair / mobility people....

We visited The Waves Cafe Bar (attached to the B&B) a few times during our stay in the area. The welcome was always warm, for both of us and our four legged friend. The food was amazing and good value too with a great range to chose from. Highly recommended and we will be back.

We arrived in Minnis Bay around 8.30pm. The local pub we have used before was closed for renovations but noticed this little café open beside the pub. We asked if they were still open for food but they stated they close at 7pm. When we told them we had just arrived from Ireland for a family visit the chef jumped...

Stopped for a quick coffee, sat outside in the drinking area with my dog who was on a lead, two women had a three dogs between them none on the lead, two terrier type dogs then proceeded to run at full pelt around the tables, then coming up to me and jumping up on my jeans leaving mud all over...

While out for a walk along the beach we decided to have lunch at Waves and it was lovely. Very busy but staff friendly and very efficient. Food was lovely and was well worth the wait. Great place for dog walkers as dogs are welcome and all dogs were well behaved. Will definitely visit again.

Don't know how long they have been running the cafe but it was a nice thing to discover especially as the more established place next door is being rebuilt. Quite cheek by jowl as it s smallish venue but they are really trying hard. Good menu nice staff. The meal was too big but hats hardly a negative. It gets...
