This Lodge is unique - in a good way - welcoming, quirky and fun.
Stay over if you can - that is when you can appreciate the nature, the calm and tranquility.
Having said that - also fun to kayak, fish and explore the waterways.
Wonderful.

What an amazing lodge and group of people! We had Shane as our main guide for the boat tour and "host" at the lodge. Him and the ladies (I cannot remember their names - one is definitely NOT Australian though) were awesome to hang out with and the cooks at the lodge put out a fan

Me and my four friends stayed overnight at this amazing place. It should really be on everyone’s bucket list! The pick up and transportation from the hotel was flawless, on time and with a funny driver. We had a nightly excursion, saw lots of wildlife, including a big cayman. We

How do you get from Panama City to your Lodge?
Hi, they have a transfer service and a bus comes to pick you up from all major Panama city hotels. As soon as you book , you'll receive a message at what time you'll be picked up. Enjoy!

Hey there, We're considering this and was wondering how the transfers work? I'm assuming you start with the canal tour at 9 am at the Gamboa boat launch? Then they take you to the lodge afterwards and you can do the other tours? What about the next morning? Do you take the boat back to the Gamboa boat launch at 9 am? Are their transportation options from here back to Panama City/airport? Thanks!
There are two options for those staying overnight. You do as you suggest or go in on the afternoon boat as we did. Either way your stay is 24 hours for overnighters. They can arrange transport from Panama City both ways. We highly recommend the option of staying overnight for the full experience

Hi there. I am trying to plan a visit to stay at the JUNGLE LAND PANAMA FLOATING LODGE. I am flying from Toronto Canada arriving at 2:10 p.m. Panama CITY TOCUMEN AIRPORT on Tuesday February 13th 2018. If I arrange for JUNGLE LAND PANAMA pickup of me and my girlfriend from TOCUMEN airport will we be able to make the 4 p.m. depart from Gamboa dock? How long is the drive from TOCUMEN airport to Gamboa dock? How long is the boat trip from the GAMBOA dock to the lodge? If we make the 4 p.m. departure how does that affect the agenda of activities with you guys? Since it will be close to sunset.... Does that mean that we would be doing some boating activity at night then come back have dinner then sleep over night and then do some daytime activities like kayaking Etc the next day? And what time do we depart from the lodge to go back to the dock and head back to Panama City? My thinking is that maybe I should stay at a hotel after I arrive in Panama on February 13th and book you to pick us up at a hotel in Panama City or somewhere else close by and make the 9:30 a.m. departure from Gamboa Dock? It all has to do with how the agenda is set up for the tours during the day and at night that's what I don't understand. Can you provide some idea of the timing of the day and night will roll out with the various tours/activities. Thx. JLoVe
Hi Joe I replied yesterday on your email with all the information. Please let us know if you have any further questions I can help with.

Can I get a rental car at the hotel? A longboard for surfing? Is there a surfspot within walking distance? Spanish tutors for our children? Tours to the Caribbean side? We will be staying at the resourt for approximately 3 weeks in June.
Ditto to the answer above. Jungle Land is very much a lodge - not a "resort". No car rentals or surfing or tutors onsite - just plenty of nature to enjoy with the help of very helpful staff and informed guides. This isn't a spot to get tours "from" - it is its own destination location - a place to immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding jungle and forget about the rest of the world. Again - are you sure you're booked at the Jungle Land Lodge?

Hi! Does the fare includes transportation to the lodge??
Yes we transport you from the public boat ramp of Gamboa to the lodge. If you arrive in the morning we tour in route for about an hour and a half. Best Regards, Carl
