Peaceful, beautiful, so quiet you could hear a rat pee on cotton!! Lobster omelets and champagne, in breakfast buffet filled with literally hundreds of choices while you sit on the Indian Ocean on a beach so clean, you have to look hard to find a seashell. Staff so professional, they are sought by other high starred resorts. A villa with...

First the positives - we spent 10 blissful days at the Banyan Tree, Seychelles for our honeymoon in April. Blissful because it's simply an incredibly beautiful, relaxing place to be - a tropical paradise - like something out of a film. The beach was one of the most stunning I've seen with white sand and incredibly clear, warm water -...

I have worked in the Seychelles as a Wedding Photographer several times. Banyan Tree must be the best and my favourite resort on Mahe. The staff always treat me excellently and the scenery is out of this world! A top venue to get married at. A perfect place to stay and work from. One of my favourite places to shoot...

very relaxing stay at banyan tree, we had a beach front villa , very clean and comfortable. the pool though was always dirty from the tree leaves. We spent 4 nights in a hillside villa in April, after 8 nights at 2 other hotels on Mahe. We were thrilled with the room, pool and layout. Unfortunately the air con in our bedroom area wasn't working so they arrived to fix it at about 4pm the next afternoon. BUT, then we couldn't switch it off or adjust the...

We had a beachside villa with our own swimming pool, an outdoor living room, a grand verandah, jacuzzi and every luxury imaginable. The beach was a few steps away just beyond the swimming pool. We felt really close to nature - the stunning beauty of the wonderfully blue Seychelloise waters, the pristine beach, the sea birds on our porch. Particularly...

This place is paradise! Situated on a remote corner of Mahe island, it is completely cut off from everything else. You feel like you're the only people there!
