Stunning quiet location in Canadian Rockies. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food. Need to tweak some details to make it truly great option at this price. If you want an almost-luxury experience in the midst of the natural splendor of the Rockies, this is the place.
You will not go wrong with a stay at Mount Engadine Lodge. A stay there is an experience, not just a hotel night. We were served amazing meals on our deck, while we looked out over the meadow below. We were even graced with a Mama Moose & her baby going through the meadow while we had breakfast. At first, the price may seem a little steep - but when you factor in the included meals (which were amazing gourmet spreads and very plentiful) it is a great value and an amazing experience we will not soon forget. We will be back!
The food was awesome. Location spectacular. Room was clean, lovely white bedding. Room lack a little functionality: bathroom door couldn’t open if bath mat was on the ground, front door couldn’t open if shoe tray wasn’t blocking bathroom door, patio door couldn’t open if rocking chair wasn’t moved. The deck and Adirondack chairs NEED painting badly.
I am a Canmore local, I have visited many times for dinner and always found this place exceptional. First time staying here in their Glamping Tents. Wonderfully done. Beds super comfy, full bathroom with shower! Reliable viewing area for moose. Food is off the charts. You can't go wrong with amazing hiking surrounding the area.
This was our second time at Engadine. First time was in the winter, this time was the summer. Both trips were amazing. We loved the glamping tent, staying with our 7-yr-old son. It's such a neat experience, and eating on our private balcony every day was such a treat. We loved doing all the hikes in the area, too.
