Found this cottage on line and what a find. The cottage is set in an idyllic place at the end of a lane. It has 2 double bedrooms both with en suite which is what helped us decide to come here as we were 2 couples. No waiting for shower toilet etc. The kitchen is tiny and looks like it...

We have just stayed here on a visit to Shrewsbury and Shropshire. A really lovely place. Extremely friendly, warm, clean and comfortable with beautiful surroundings! I would highly recommend staying here! Breakfast was great too!

Our first visit in 2013 was by chance as another B&B nearby gave us backword, so Caro was a delightful discovery well off the beaten track - warranting a return visit in 2014. Beautiful dawn views of the Long Mynd. Comfortable sitting room with efficient wood-burning stove. Very comfortable bed - we may get the same mattress. Cooked breakfast a...

Stayed here with friends for New Years Eve, we were met by Caroline the owner who showed us where everything was, rooms are very clean, with comfortable beds, and modern bathrooms, wood burner in the living room was roaring, with plenty of logs for the evening to keep it cosy. The setting is idyllic, ideal if you want a quiet...

We booked this for our 5th anniversary and loved it. The room we had was a double ensuite with a lovely view of the Shropshire countryside. The power shower was great and the bed very comfy. Downstairs there is a guest lounge which is shared between the two rooms. As no one had booked the other ( family) room we...

Caroline has made this a lovely b&b. We arrived on a cold, wet evening, to find a blazing log burner in a comfortable lounge. En-suite bathroom and very comfortable bed made our stay very relaxing. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. 10 minutes from fantastic Shrewsbury. Excellent!

I've stayed here a couple of times, and both visits have been excellent. The two rooms are both attractively decorated with lovely fresh bed linens and pillows. Coupled with the rural location, this pretty much guarantees a restful and deep sleep, which is always a good start! As well as your own room & bathroom, there is a whole lovely...

Although off the beaten track it is only a mile and a half to the a49 and great not to be in a town. Fresh fruit from the garden, great views and just appreciated it being so peaceful. Nice sitting room where we could have a glass of wine and goodies we bought from the deli in church stretton

We stayed 2 nights while photographing a nearby wedding. Caro made us both feel very welcome. The room was clean and the bed comfortable with an excellent shower, which was exactly what we needed after a hard day's work. Breakfast was very good with a great selection at reasonable times. We would definitely stay here again. Many thanks!

Stopped here prior to doing the Bike4life ride out from Shrewsbury, and having read the reviews, and not wanting to stop at a faceless box motel thought it would fit the bill. The B&B is quite a long way from the village, and down a farm track, so walking to any local amenities is out. On arrival had quite a...
