Really enjoyed our two night stay here that was part of an organised tour. The lodge is beautiful and very isolated in the rain forest, the activities were great, especially walking through the rain forest and repelling down a waterfall, and the guides were very good, Eduardo made our trip all the better.

Everything. We weren't staying there on a tour, and so we were largely ignored by the staff during our stay. When they did approach us, it was only try to sell an over-priced tour. They even charge $2 a night to park.....in the jungle!! The road to the resort is very rough and takes over 40 minutes from Misahualli. I...

The experience we had was out of this world. The lodge location had the best of all worlds. It was in the jungle so we had the jungle experience, yet it was close enough to the city if and when needed. The staff were wonderful and the service was superb. If you read the Suchipakari Eco Lodge website you expect a wide range of activities involving local indigenous communities, experiences in the rainforest, attentive staff and sumptuous homemade food. Unfortunately our experience fell far short of the old marketing adge 'under promise and over deliver' - at Suchiparki the exact opposite applies. Whilst the lodge is situated in a spectacular...

I must say that what Titulina is referring to in her review is nothing of what we experienced. However, we had already purchased the package, including the 'adventures' we went to. We were lucky to have Walter to guide us all the time. Walter is also the chef. His food was amazing. Simple, clean and just enough for a stay...
