This b&b is very well situated in between the various wine fields. We expected something more luxurious but found it very very basic instead (room looks nice but you have to shower un a bathtub and the towels were so stiff that it could easily be regarded as sanded paper). The owner - which is friendly but a character in...

We struggled a little to find this delightful B & B but were greeted by the owner with incredulity - surely we saw all the signposts... um, no, we didn't... This is really a beautiful place with extremely well appointed & comfortable rooms and great views over the Champagne vineyards. We were made to feel very welcome even though if...

Spent 2 nights at Manoir de Montflambert in mid October2012. Lovely old building in a gorgeous location.Wish we could have stayed longer! Well located for visiting Epernay and Reims and all the beautiful villages in the Champagne region.

Manoir de Montflambert is a charming small quiet manor house a short 15 minutes from central Epernay and about a 2 hour drive east of GDG or Orly in Paris. In fact we landed at Orly and drove directly to Manoir de Montflambert. Do not come here without a car. The surrounding area is just too pleasant to not explore,...

My Dad and I came here as part of a trip to buy the wines for my wedding. We were just blown away by the place. The first thing you notice is the amazing view. Not that many places in Champagne can boast a view like this: rolling hills, grand vines and a lovely lake right in front of the...

I absolutely adore the Manoir de Montflambert. I loved my recent 2-day stay here enough to immediately plan a longer return in a month. I loved it so much I'm reluctant to share my thoughts, fearing it will become so popular I'll no longer be able to get a room when I want. But I loved it and it's effervescent,...

For our second visit to Champagne, we wanted to be in the country, preferably on a hill surrounded by nature and vineyards. Manoir de Montflambert was exactly what we sought: a beautiful home surrounded by woods, park lands, and champagne vineyards. Who could have expected this first generation champagne house to also produce one of the most expressive, well structured,...

This huge manor house is off the beaten path about a 15 minute drive northeast of Epernay up on the mountain. The rooms are comfortable, very clean, and the breakfast (included in the price) was very good. The owner was always cheerful and helpful and speaks good English. It is a very quiet location at the end of the road,...

The service here was very warm and enthusiastic, and our host's generosity and good-will at breakfast meant a nice start to the day. Breakfast itself was lovely (not exceptional though) with a choice of cheeses, pastry and eggs done how you like. The host even let me give her my gluten-free bread to go toast in the kitchen to be...
