I stayed overnight here. There was a good choice of home cooked Italian food on the menu. The food and service were excellent. Lovely room - very comfortable bed - and it was great to watch the stars through the skylight as I drifted off to sleep. It brought back some very happy childhood memories. Breakfast was good - with...

A basic but comfortable room for a one night stay. A few damaged tiles in the bathroom and very basic, old fittings but everything worked. Lovely bar area. My husband enjoyed a great Guinness! Having read a lot of reviews we were looking forward to a wonderful Italian meal. Sadly we were disappointed. It was an average OK meal. Nothing...

We stayed two nights in this delightful Cotswolds pub and were duly impressed with our hosts' hospitality...from check in to check out we wanted for nothing. The cosy fire and pub were welcoming, and the homemade Italian dinner was delicious and well presented, finished off with homemade cherry liqueur direct from the host's Mum in Italy! The rooms were cosy...

All I can say is wow!! A warm welcome, lovely atmosphere and 10 out of 10 for the food. The chocolate soufflé and homemade gelato was one of the nicest things I've ever had.....looking forward to another visit very soon!

My wife and I stopped off here for a drink at the end of a lovely walk around Hawkesbury Upton in the Cotswolds. We were given a lovely warm welcome even though we were just having tea and coffee in the bar. On a cold day, the fire was warm and welcoming, excellent coffee, and attractive decor inside. Next time...

A difficult place to review, but full marks for the enthusiastic and warm welcome from the two smiling young ladies working behind the bar. We arrived 2 pm Sunday, and pub was very well presented but eerily quiet. There were more people in the very attractive restaurant. Dog friendly , a bonus for our two dogs. We wanted to eat...

The Fox does not try to be anything other than a very well run village Pub with good accommodation. It is family run and you will get a warm welcome and great food. We did not eat in the evening but noticed a packed restaurant when we checked in and if the quality of the breakfast is anything to go...

I would like to share my experience with others after my first stay in this beautiful place. Everything was well organized and all clients looked after. I was positively surprised with greeting on arriving and brought to accommodation upstairs with directions to room. Food was served on time made by Top chef Guiseppe. I have already decided to stay longer...

Stayed here for one night while attending a family party in Hawkesbury and it served our purposes well. The staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and reasonably furnished. Bed was comfortable enough and the room was cosy, which were thankful for as it was a very cold night. The breakfast omelette was delicious! Would...
