Several days at home and I am still missing all of of the joys of La Maison sur le Port! Everything about my stay was perfect: the view of the picturesque harbour; the beautiful and lovingly restored house; my comfortable and spacious room; the pretty and relaxing gardens; the delicious breakfasts with an amazing choice of homemade jams. The orchestrators...

Exquisitely decorated (my room was the best), breakfast to your wishes, wonderfully quiet, excellent location (and easily accessible), most welcoming hosts!!! Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to try the Table d'Hôtes, but I am sure it's delicious. The region is beautiful, the food to swoon over... A most definite recommend!!! Would gladly come back...

Stayed one night and wish it could have been longer. Charming, quiet, well located and with exceptional hosts, this was a great stay. Lovely furnishings, comfortable bed and a great breakfast. And a great price. Couldn't ask for more! David speaks English so travel tips and conversation not a problem in case your French isn't up to speed. Julie, Brooklyn,...

Dear Julie, It was lovely to have you here (as well, of course, as your friends) and that should, in itself, be enough to thank you for. However, I wanted to especially thank you because your comment is number 100 in our TripAdvisor Reviews. So, we've reached what is, for us, a magic number. It represents, as well, so many...

We have just returned from spending 3 nights at La Maison Sur Le Port. We were welcomed by the owners David (Canadian) and Didier(French)and immediately offered a cup of tea. They were very chatty and we soon felt at home. We had a beautiful room on the top floor overlooking the lovely port of Dahouet. The room was tastefully and...

La Maison sur le Port is a beautifully modernized B&B in a gorgeous house overlooking the harbour in Dahouet. A dreamy spot. Our room was lovely, looking right out over the harbour. The bathroom was modern and efficient. The bed was comfortable, with crisp high-quality linen (ironed, no less!!!). David and Didier are incredible hosts, thoughtful in every way and...

I was going to start by saying don't bother to book expensive hotels in the area when you could stay here, but unfortunately La Maison sur le Port is so popular that you may have difficulty finding a vacancy in high season! Location is great, food delicious, rooms superb (everything you could possibly wish for and oh so comfy beds),...

We stayed two nights with another couple, both of our rooms were large, charming and full of interesting antiques. The breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice, served in the kitchen with other guests. David and Didier's attention to detail both to the set up of the house and to the clients could not be faulted and they are to...

We stayed at David and Didier's wonderful B&B for 5 days in July 2013. It is truly the best B&B that we have been. Our room was Matthieu - spacious, clean, with great view and had everything we needed (baby cot, beach towels, Wifi, hairdryer). Breakfast is generous and made of local organic products. We also suggest Table d'hôtes, David...

Indoors or out, the prevailing atmosphere of David and Didier's home is serenity spiced with charm. Their hospitality is flawless, the rooms are immaculate, and the food is of star quality. Our hosts made sure we had every comfort imaginable. The house is full of visual beauty and quirky treats for the eye. The breakfasts are as gargantuan or simple...
