If you want a get away from it all place this works out fine. We went on a great value package deal from Fleetway travel (as did everyone else in the place it seemed) for five nights in October. The cost was about £240 each including flights, dinners and breakfasts. It's in a (very) small town, which is very peaceful...

Positive: The service was nice and the staff helpful. Negative: The suite with our own bath and mini-kitchen looked nice, but was not clean, smelled terrible after 1 day and the smell did not disappear, reached out luggage and clothes. The shower couldn`t keep the water warm more than ca 4 min. The brickwalls in the room had some nasty...

Dear Madame, thank you very much for sharing your experience on tripadvisor. We care about our guests’ opinion and appreciate your positive comment about the service and the staff. Regarding your complain about the room, consider that that room is one of the completely renovated room of the hotel, one of the biggest and very much appreciated by our valued...

Had a great holiday in Monte Castello di Vibio. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The manager Tizianna was brilliant, she always went out of her way to help. We also had a few days in the sister hotel (The Sport) in Gubbio, Pepe the manager was equally as helpful and friendly. The food in both hotels was excellent....

I booked this as an offer through FleetwayTravel and to be honest did little research, so it could have been disastrous. The hotel is a converted medieval castle set on a hilltop in an lovely town.. There is little to do in the town itself although the theatre is worth a visit. The view from our hotel bedroom were spectacular...

We stayed here for a few days in September and whilst it is true that some of the hotel rooms need updating,(especially the showers), the overall experience was lovely and the service of the staff was faultless. We enjoyed our cookery lesson and would definitely recommend this hotel to somebody looking for a quiet place to relax. To enjoy the...

We booked up this hotel with Broadway Travel as part of a package which included flights and car hire . Since the price was very reasonable and we had not heard of the place we were bracing ourselves for a bit of a let down. How wrong could we have been! The hotel was truly enchanting - a restored medieval...

I can do no more than echo an earlier review entitled Peaceful Retreat. This hotel is just that. Like the earlier reviewer, our room was in the villa 10 minutes' walk from the main hotel, near the pool (which is closed at the end of September - a fact not mentioned on the hotel website). I would add that you...

Arrived at the hotel on Friday 14th October(cerebrating our 35th wedding anniversary) we were warmly greeted by Manuella who gave us all the information we needed, we were presented with welcome drinks. We were allocated rooms in the villa, which is approximately 10 minute walk from the hotel, having said that the hotel staff were more than happy to pick...

We booked at half board week's stay at Il Castello via Travelzoo in early October. We arrived very late, nearly 1am, and were greeted by the duty manager, Jeffrey, who provided us with something to eat and drink before taking us to our room in the villa. The villa is about a 10 minute walk from the main hotel which...

We arrived on the 5/10/16 and at first were impressed with the room which was a good size. The bathroom however was not of the same standard, the shower was tiny and stained, the shower nozzle would not stay in it's holder which was broken anyway. The toilet once flushed would not stop flushing, and although someone was sent to...
