We stayed there for 4 nights in the beginning of january. All the rooms/bungalows were taken so we decided to go for the blue camper. Its small but cosy. You wont be spending much time in this camper anyway so its a perfect place where to keep your things and sleep. Casita Carolina has a really good place just next...

In casita Carolina you can find many options, all of them are acceptable. I spent one night at the yellow room, the only room/apartment in the street, it was clean but noisy since the music coming from the hostel next to casita Carolina was very loud. The hotel offers kayaks and paddle boards for $50 per hour which is a...

The best thing about this place is it's located on the lake with its own dock, has kayaks for rent, and a giant lawn with chairs and hammocks to relax on all day and night. I stayed in both the Casa Chica and the Palapa. Casa Chica was small but comfortable and had plenty of space for my belongings. No...

We stayed in the little blue camper and loved it - we'd originally booked for 3 nights but stayed for 5! It would have been more but it was booked up after us. The camper itself was clean and tidy. Although it's pretty small there was plenty of places to put all our stuff and didn't feel cramped in the...

Without having particularly high expectations of Bacalar, we had the most beautiful three days here and found it difficult to drag ourselves away. With a backpackers budget we first visited a hostel and decided to carry on looking (thankfully!). Eventually we stumbled across Casita Carolina and although we didn't think we'd be able to afford it, it was cheaper than...

The place is quaint and, owned by a German, very savvy in terms of (shower) infrastructure and location. :) It offers all you need from a place like that, including stand up paddle boards and life vests to enjoy the lake! There was no breakfast included, which was a shame, but apart from that the place is great, even off...

We stayed for one week in that lovely little blue Camper in a charming and super relaxing atmosphere. Really friendly stuff, delicious free coffee in the morning with beautiful view of the lake with it's vibrant colors. Good information about the activities around Bacalar and cheap rental possibility of canoes. We would highly recommend to spend a couple of days...

We originally booked two nights and ended up staying for four. The grounds are very chilled out, with accommodation dotted around. We stayed in a tiny trailer which was so cute and such good value for money. There is a huge lawn with hammocks and sun loungers scattered around in front of the pier where you can go to dip...

Loved this stay! Family of five squeezed into the "blue" casita and shared beds for three nights. Saved money on breakfast and lunch by using the shared kitchen facilities attached to our room. No a/c, but fans provided along with secure, screened windows that could be opened. Best of all, right on Laguna Bacalar. Walked down the pretty, manicured lawn...

Family hotel has got one of the most attractive and romantic locations near Yucatan coast! I was stunned by the large garden with trimmed lawn, coconut palms, hammocks, water deck... We stayed in a trailer just a few steps from the bay - a bit small but ok for 2 persons of even 3! There is a lot of space...
