The food here is undescribable. Every morsel of every meal we had was superb. Chef Carson knows what he is doing. Nicole, the wait staff, is a character. She is full of energy, spunk and keeps you smiling. The staff are accommodating, helpful and always pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay in this quaint old home and would recommend eating and staying here.

May 11, 2012, our group of 6 had an excellent dinner at the Auberge Vue d`la Dune. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The owners, Nicole and Carson were very good hosts. We would highly recommend. Thank you for making our evening delightful.

carson & nicole (the hosts) made the stay absolutely amazing. carson is the chef and you should definitely arrive with an appetite! the seafood sharing plate could have fed a family of 8. the food is delicious and the value fantastic. you won't find a better meal in bouctouche. we went in the summer but hear it is beautiful in the winter too! the rooms were clean, homey, and comfortable. we loved our stay and would definitely come back!

My husband and I were visiting our grandchildren and spent two nights at this Inn. A lovely spot overlooking the water. Nicole is a lovely hostess and her husband, Carson, is a good chef. We stayed in the Family Room with Sea View and it was very nice. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Saturday morning we had bacon and eggs and Sunday morning brunch was served. Great location. Went for a lovely stroll around the area. Our family joined us for dinner on Friday night (8 of us including 4 children) and they accommodated a menu for the children. Delicious seafood pasta and a nice wine which they let me take the rest back up to my room to enjoy while watching television. Overall would definitely recommend if visiting the Bouctouche area.

Great room and incredible food, only a few minutes from everything. Just a few minutes to the beautiful Bouctouche Dunes and nature walks. A family run business that makes it feel like home. Thank you! My 4 and 6 year old loved it.

We stayed there in late August. The room was bland and it's a room, just a room and cleanliness was at a minumum there and in the restaurant too. As for the meal and service, nothing to brag about. If you go for the breakast, bring your own fruits or veggies because that too in bland. Not at a 4 star like in Canada Select, and not at a standard that a "Chef" like we were told he was should accept. The worst place we stopped in a 16 day tour of the Maritimes (and we are not hard people to please).

Response from Edwards123456, Owner at Auberge Vue d'la Dune / Dune View Inn
Responded Jul 18, 2014
Sent on 23 Mar 2012 Hi, My name is Nicole and I am co-owner of the Dune View Inn in Bouctouche with my husband (the Chef) - where you stayed and did not have a positive overall experience. Let me begin by saying that I'm very sorry to hear that your stay with us was not good. I would like to share a few things. We did have a few comments on our rooms this past summer (none as dissapointed as yours) and we are updating things in our rooms for this coming season - thank you for letting us know that we had fallen behind and we appreciate the comments. As for the breakfast - this too has been modified with your suggestions. We will now be serving a cup of fruit, cereal, and/or yogurt with our breakfasts as we feel more people may appreciate this as well as yourself. Thank you again for keeping us on our toes :0) Nicole

Visited this area with family from Ontario. The weather was great. We enjoyed everything we set out to do except Payee de la Seiguine, the restaurant wasn’t open on Monday to serve and let us sample Acadian cuisine unless we paid the gate fee to take the walk which took people to the entertainment, some food, etc. Disappointed, but I guess not enough people visit for the restaurant to be open during the week only on weekends and on special occasions. We did however enjoy the excellent food prepared by Chef Carson at the Auberge Vue d’la Dune where we spent the night. Comfortable, clean bedroom.

On our arrival we were greeted by Nicole, who along with her husband owns this Inn and the accompanying farm. It was like meeting and old friend. First off, she admitted that the room wasn't ready and she could either give us a beer or wine or we could go into town. We were tired and thirsty and so we went into town, and as usual, found the local pub which was great. We returned to fine our room ready and our dinner being prepared. Our dinner was wonderful, sitting at a table looking out over the water. Breakfast next morning was also great and after meeting her three children who were waiting for the school bus, we felt like we were leaving friends when we left. We will be back!

The owner Nicole is constantly working to make your stay enjoyable and accommodate your needs. We needed our room a little cooler one day and then not as cool the next and she was very willing. We saw her and her mother, Linda, who was helping in the dining room accommodate the dietary needs of a large group willingly. Nicole speaks French and English interchangeably which was amazing to listen to. As for the food, it was wonderful. They make their own salad dressings and pesto. We shared a cheese cake with strawberry for dessert. We loved the fact that the strawberry sauces was home made and had a wonderful taste, not out of a frozen food package. C'est magnifique

My partner and I stayed her for 2 nights late Sept 2015 and found the place absolutely charming. The food provided by Chef Carson is amazing. Nicole is warm, sociable and very concerned as to her guests well being. We stayed in Room 5 which has a view out over the bay and get to experience sunrise over the water. The room rate is good value as it includes a full cooked breakfast, if you are there Sunday morning it is one of the best breakfast buffets ever. I am definitely a FAN.
