This resort is good because of the three employees who work there. Joseph, Eric, and Margery are the best! Any problems? They can fix! A very relaxing place with good and plenty of food! You sleep with the sounds of the waves! Near the town and an old castle. Easy to move around the area. My room had a new...

We stayed here just for a couple of nights on our way from Elmina (which was just too hot!) to Accra. It is beautifully positioned, right on the beach, and is a great place to stay. The huts have all you need - clean but simple and not too basic, It is in the process of refurbishment. The manager was...

We bumped into Abandze by mistake after all the other resorts were fully booked for the weekend but it ended up being our nicest stay in the area. The rooms are small, not so nice, nothing special, but the beach and the food is sublime. Walking on the sand, sitting on the beach, eating on the beach and the breeze...

During our stay we were the only guests, so it felt like the place belonged to us. The staff in general are very friendly and helpful. Good food Good location on the beach. You can relax under the coconut trees while watching the local people walking on the beach going to the nearby fishermen harbour.Free fresh coconut provided for the...

Abandze is beautiful and offers great views of the Amsterdam fort up on a hill and beautiful roof top restaurant overlooking a lagoon that attracts locals fishing and swimming at the weekends. The resort is very neat and spacious for young kids to run and roam peacefully. It is also just about 3 minutes away from the main Accra to...

Great place to disconnect and enjoy a quiet vacation. Our room had cold air conditioning with a ceiling fan. The staff was very friendly from the owner to the wait staff to the on site dog, Ella. Breakfast was delicious. Overall, a great place to stay, unwind, relax and disconnect (no wifi).

Our family have been to Abandze four times in 2013. Our first visit was such a peaceful time:swimming, walking and relaxing. It is the perfect place to get away from the "busy"ness of Accra. The beach is on your doorstep, the rooms have AC, fridge, double or twin beds, ensuite shower and toilet. One of the best things about Abandze...

I ended up here by complete mistake (an overbooking at another nameless hotel nearby) and it was the best mistake that could have happened. Location is perfect, an untouched beach inches from your door and sleeping to the sound of the Atlantic surf is amazing. I was travelling alone and was made so welcome by Susan and her team and...

We booked into this resort without knowing much of it but Susan the owner made us very welcome and ensured that we had a very relaxing end to a hectic journey to Ghana. The rooms were really well priced and more than adequate with air-con & TV (not used) and hot water to shower in. Food was great and catered...

Abandze Beach Resort is a wonderful place to relax and see coastal Ghana at its best; of our dozen holidays or so as a family, this rates among the top three especially when it comes to value for money and the resort could not get any closer to the sea front; Susan (the host) has such a brilliant homely hospitality...
