Booked this place with very little expectation and was very pleased with the rooms! The outside and reception area looks like its from the 80s but the rooms were renovated in 2012. Clean and spacious, the rooms have satellite tv, aircon, fridge, and kettle. The bathroom was big and had an amazing rainforest showerhead. The only complain I have is...

hotel rooms have been refurbished since 2011. I have stayed in this hotel regularly since 2008. My most current stay was Nov 17, 2012. very reasonable and simple meals served up by hotel cook under USD6. Local foods in coffee shops ('kopitam') within two minutes' walk from hotel entrance. For those who drive, ample parking spaces in front of hotel...

“If you need wifi, make sure you specify. I usually stay in rooms near the lift (Room 111, 112) are rooms where staff usually put me as they know my requirements - wifi, facing the front, overlooking the car park. Rooms are fairly sound proof, so noise is not too big an issue. If you like quiet, ask for rooms facing the front and not towards the end of the hall.”
