Got a twin queen beds for MYR98 per night, a spacious bathroom with hot shower, a working TV with some satellite channels, a fridge, and most importantly, a well maintained room. A 3 star hotel at an affordable price! Highly recommended!

Stayed here for a week as part of a group on a work trip. We had 3 spacious rooms with 1 double bed and 1 single bed each, all on the 1st floor. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the new Bintulu airport, slightly on the outskirts but still close to the main town area. It is part of... More

The Regent Hotel in Bintulu Malaysia is quite basic. On the positive note the Hotel is clean and the staff are quite helpful and friendly. If looking for a basic room or to put it differently a bed in which to sleep for a few nights then the Regent Hotel in Bintulu will fit the bill.

Booked this place with very little expectation and was very pleased with the rooms! The outside and reception area looks like its from the 80s but the rooms were renovated in 2012. Clean and spacious, the rooms have satellite tv, aircon, fridge, and kettle. The bathroom was big and had an amazing rainforest showerhead. The only complain I have is... More

hotel rooms have been refurbished since 2011. I have stayed in this hotel regularly since 2008. My most current stay was Nov 17, 2012. very reasonable and simple meals served up by hotel cook under USD6. Local foods in coffee shops ('kopitam') within two minutes' walk from hotel entrance. For those who drive, ample parking spaces in front of hotel... More

Recently renovated property with updated rooms. Great value for money for what they offer, which is a clean and comfortable nights sleep. Pleasantly surprised that there is free wifi (although strength rather weak), flat screen tv's with ASTRO and rain forest showers, all 3 of which are sometimes not found in larger, higher ranked establishments. There is an attached restaurant... More

“If you need wifi, make sure you specify. I usually stay in rooms near the lift (Room 111, 112) are rooms where staff usually put me as they know my requirements - wifi, facing the front, overlooking the car park. Rooms are fairly sound proof, so noise is not too big an issue. If you like quiet, ask for rooms facing the front and not towards the end of the hall.”
