We have traveled a lot but our four day trip along the EBC trek has been the best ever. Great guides, excellent lodges with gourmet food and in-room hot shower make for a very comfortable stay in the best of mountain scenery. Passang is the marketing manager of Yeti Tours who coordinates all of this with passion and patience. We...

Simple lodge with a nice public area with a wood stove. Rooms are pretty spacious. As with all Yeti Mountain Home Lodges, there’s no ventilation fan in the bathroom and this leaves the room swampy after a shower. The shower is designed so that the overflow shoots all over the floor, so build a levy to catch the water with...

We stayed at the YMH in Namche, Phakding, and Lukla during our trek up to EBC and back. The staff at all locations are very welcoming. We were greeted to change into comfortable crocs upon arrival out of our trekking shoes. Then we were welcomed with tea, biscuits and a hot towel upon arrival. It was worth paying extra for...

In October 2015 (we just got back from trekking in the Everest region) we stayed at the YMH lodges in Lukla, Phakding, Monzo, and Namche. With the single exception of YMH Namche, all the other YMH lodges were very satisfactory, kept in good condition, and truly beautiful. However, the lodge at Namche needs some basic attention from management. A towel...

I stayed here the longest out of any of the locations along my trek. While the location is at the top of Namche, the view from up there is very much worth it. The lodge is very cozy and the staff goes very far to make you feel at home from the minute you arrive. The bed was comfortable and...

We trekked from Lukla and stayed at the Yeti Phakding Lodge on the way up to Namche Bazaar. Both properties were comfortable and the food was excellent. The heated blankets made the stays warm and cozy. I agree with the earlier review that the extra steps up to the Yeti Mountain Home in Namche is a bit of a bummer...

After the recent earthquake in Nepal, they have refused to aid homeless and hungry people and have kept the site empty. Unacceptable behaviour. Would not recommend this place to anyone that has an ounce of human compassion

My family and I spent two nights at the YMH in Namche at the end of a two day trek from Lukla. The rooms here are comfortable, beds are warmed by electric blankets and bathrooms have western toilets and hot water but what really sets this location apart is the delicious food and friendly staff. Meals are absolutely delicious and...

This is the second of the Yeti properties we have visited. The rooms are adequate and most importantly the hot water for showers is hot and comes out with pressure.
