While spending a few days in the Pescara area my friends and I found out about a one day cooking class at L'Aperegina from our walking tour guide, Anna, who has the website "Abruzzo with gusto!" We had a fantastic time with our hosts, Marino and Elide. They were fun, knowledgeable, and very gracious. We prepared a simple meal of...

This place offers so much. Beautiful, magical nature, the mountains provide constant changes of light and cloud. The owners, Marino and Eilde are so helpful and eager to share their special place with you. Everything you eat has been produced on the farm or locally. Fruit and nut trees, herbs, vegetables, pigs, ducks and hens are kept and of course...

Agriturismo L`Aperegina is very special place which you can`t see just everywhere. I totally recommend to visit this wonderful and magic corner of the region Abruzzo, because first of all, Marino and Elide are nice and friendly people and make you feel as at home and as the part of family immediately, the place is full of positive energy and...

I stayed here for two weeks and had a fantastic experience. L'aperegina is absolutely stunning and aside from the gorgeous aesthetics, you won't find anywhere else with the same warmth and hospitality that Marino and Elide provide. This place has communal breakfast and dinner--delicious meals with local ingredients--that give you the opportunity to get to know your hosts and fellow...

This was my second time back and it was as beautiful as the first time. The owners are a wonderful couple who cannot do enough for you. The rooms are clean and the views are breath taking. I am looking forward to one day returning to this little paradise tucked away in the hills of Abruzzo.

This was my 5th or 6th year staying with Marino and Elide at L'aperegina. I love to come and stay in this beautiful and tranquil environment, especially after having been in chaotic tourist areas. It seems that even if Rome or the coastal areas are hot and humid, the air in the mountains is cooler and dryer and it's possible...

Marino and Elide do everthing for you to make you feel comfertable. Marino gave good advice for walkings and other trips. We had the feeling that we know each other for quite a long...

We spent 2 nights at L'Aperegina after a whirlwind tour of Perugia and areas south of Naples. Marino and Elide are perfect hosts, and we enjoyed a meal of beautiful Bufalo Mozzarella and organic tomatoes, as well as home made salami & proscuitto. Great base for exploring the mountain top villages in the region and the Campo Imperatore - an...

After some windy roads from the A25 autostrada, we arrived at this little piece of paradise. After a busy holiday this was just the place for some relaxation, breathing the fresh mountain air and enjoying the panoramic views, our batteries were recharged. The food is fresh and abundant with genuine flavours, especially the home made honey, sausages, cheeses and liqueurs....

Despite being closed already, Marino gave us a warm welcome and invited us to stay for one night and have dinner with the family. We had a very good meal, a good night sleep and some interesting discussions about country life, nature and 'clown' Berlusconi. We will be back in the future. Ariën and Esther
