Right ih the middle of the fields this "chambre d'hote" is a nice place for a relaxing stopover. Rooms are clean and the manager from York very friendly. Bathroom brand new and a good continental breakfast. Two drawbacks: the rooms are a bit humid and no confortable chairs are available to enjoy the garden
This is our third visit here to Maison Ancienne as a family we have two children who love to bounce on the trampoline and play on the swings in the park opposite. Guilligomarc'h is a very slow and quiet village with a boulangerie providing the usual French treats. There is also a plug to charge your electric car if you so need to, this is located in the square by the church. David your English host has spent the last fourteen years resurrecting the remains of the building which is now an amazing and welcoming retreat. He now provides you with comfortable rooms to sleep with en-sweet shower rooms, and a simple breakfast to start your day. There is plenty of parking and an area to eat out side in the sun which shines every day. The views are stunning with amazing trees to the horizon all round. Roches du Diable is an interesting rock formation to visit down the road a spectacular scene of massive rocks and a fast flowing river you can feel the ground rumble under your feet! We have enjoyed each and every stay David is very approachable host and will welcome you throughout the summer season. …
