For local food, color, and experience. Hands down one of the best places to stay. Quiet, intimate, discrete way of enjoying Puerto Rico at it's best. The owner is also a guide for whatever you have in mind to enjoy. From Rain Forest to Kayaking to Beaches and to the local swimming hole. They offer it all. Friendly and hospitable...

All in all - great trip. We were more then pleasently surprised by the incredible view from the pool, and the wonderful hospitality of Patty & Co. Breakfast was made to order, and awesome! Only down side was the 50 or so (not exaggerating...) roosters who lived next door and could be heard at almost any hour. If your a...

My wife and I stayed at Casa Libre for 3 nights prior to a cruise that left from San Juan. This was our first time ever staying in a B&B, so I wasn't real sure what to expect. But from the moment we arrived until the time we left, we felt like we were at home. The room we stayed...

This place was a hidden gem. The staff (Patti, Josue and Dawn) were wonderful. They pointed us towards several local spots (el hippy = amazing!) We relaxed by the pool, and I think we were the only tourists in town that day. We wandered around the marina and through the quiet streets. This isn't a resort or hotel, but a...

I have stayed at swankier places, but probably at no place more pleasant than Casa Libre. It's a cheery place; the rooms are nice, the view is lovely, the pool is delightful, and the proprietors are wonderful. My husband and I stayed there for four nights in February, and we both loved it. This little B&B is off the beaten...

Patti and Josue were wonderful hosts to the little coastal town of Naguabo. The B&B is a little off the highway, but fairly easy to get to with the directions they provided. We arrived much earlier than anticpated our first morning, but Patti welcomed us with that morning's fresh breakfast and allowed us to put away our bags, before venturing...

First of all...Josue and Patti are awesome, wonderful people. My husband and I stayed in Puerto Rico for 2 weeks and Casa Libre was our last location. By far, the most enjoyable part of our trip, we both wished we had stayed at Casa Libre for the full 2 weeks! Very relaxing, laid back and confortable surroundings. You can lounge...

I stayed three weeks at Casa LIbre. It's a charming B&B in a house on a hill in a fishing village overlooking a small bay on the ocean. There are great views of the monkey island of Cayo Santiago and the big mountain of El Yunque rainforest. Josue and Patty are very hospitable and friendly and lots of fun too....

it's off the beaten path a bit, but naguabo is growing, and with the addition of a second guesthouse, with beach acces (i've yet to see, just heard!), this place is just perfect. best way to see any country is with a local, and Josue the proprietor, and his partners Dawn and Patty, take such good care of you while...
