Clean, welcoming and sensibly priced. Beds very comfortable. Exactly what we needed after a hectic day at the festival. Nothing was too much trouble. Dinner freshly cooked and breakfast excellent. Perhaps the dining room needs an update but no other faults.
Overall cleanliness good, the food is very good, recommend steak and ale pie.friendly proprietors, dog friendly .easy reach of the brecon, the foot rail on the bed can be dangerous if not careful when walking around the bed.
Finding reasonably priced accommodation for the Hay Festival is difficult, but this was a great find. Sensible prices and lovely breakfasts. It's not fancy, but it's decent, clean, reasonably priced and the owner made us very welcome. I'll happily go back.

Stayed in the New Inn on a last minute booking Thurs and Friday night. Lovely room with en suite, decor was beautiful and clean throughout. We had a beautiful breakfast (thanks Glen!) We didn't wander far as we just wanted a relaxing few nights away....More
