Everything about our stay was perfect. All the staff were extremely friendly. There is a warm and homely atmosphere. The rooms are clean and everything is in a working condition and the rooms are very comfortable. I cannot fault any aspect of our stay. Should we be lucky enough to visit the area again, we'll definitely stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even if it was just for 1 night. We stayed in the new wing and loved our comfortable room with a little veranda looking over the garden. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We attending a wedding in the area. 1 night was not long enough, would have loved to have stayed longer. Centrally situated in the midlands. We were upgraded to a garden cottage, which was a nice surprise. Thank you.

We were a group of friends staying in the hotel and fond it to be an excellent place to stay at affordable rates (with breakfast included). Great vibe in the pub after hours. Probably better for a younger crowd though.

Lovely Victorian style rooms, with comfy beds and a good shower. Friendly, helpful service. In a beautiful part of KZN. Friday nights there is a buzz in the bar, which has a super log fire. Negatives are the train noise, and if you are in a room downstairs the noise of wooden floors above.

She would see me waiting at the bar and then turn around and dissappear into the back, she was unfriendly and not very help interactive I don't think...

On our way to Durban we took a left and found this gem - Nottingham Road. We stopped at the Nottingham Road Hotel for coffee and home-made scones - lovely. This place has lots of history and an association with our home city Nottingham! Well worth a stop and visit Nottingham Road Fort too.

The Notties Hotel has a lot of character and obviously a long history. Staff were very friendly. The location is not that good being right next to a fairly busy railway line. The garden suite we had was comfortable and very clean. The little courtesy chocolate on the bed must have been as old as the hotel itself and the cast...
