I had a wonderful overnight stay at "Notties". The staff were extremely helpful both at check in and check out. The room was clean, comfortable and well laid out. ( I stayed in a garden suite - this was a large room with a couch and en suite bathroom.) I had a few drinks in the bar which was lively...

All very good thx .. will return some time. A good location, very friendly and well services. The pub was great fun, food was good and the staff professional. It was a trip with some foreign friends and they were also very impressed overall.

A visit to Notties for a beer when on the Midlands Meander is a great experience where you will meet the local farmers etc. A wonderfully warm and inviting place to spend a few hours people watching and learning about the locals

Over all the cottage was comfortable. There were a few things that need attention though. There was a very strong sewage smell outside the front door the whole weekend. There was nowhere in the shower to put any soap except the floor. One light was blown in the end suite bathroom and all the lights on the back verandah were...

We really enjoyed our stay at Nottingham Road Hotel. We were a bit aprehensive as family members had previously stayed in the main building and were bothered by the noise from the outdoor tables of the pub. However we opted for the more expensive garden suites which are very new and very well appointed and away from the main building....

It was our first trip to the Midlands. We enjoyed our stay at Nottingham Road Hotel. The pizza's are excellent and all the staff we're friendly and helpful. The only negative thing was the noise. We stayed in room 5 and it was quite noisy with the pub being downstairs. It only started to quite down around 12h30.

Very impressed with the spacious and clean room, good food and friendly service The main hotel retains its rustic charm and history whilst the rooms have had a modern upgrade. The room rate was reasonable with the rand dollar exchange rate.

Although we knew it is a pub..the noise until 3 am was unbearable. the early morning noise of cleaners outside rooms 1,2 and 3 at 6am disrupted any sleep in. The towels were removed and housekeeping just never got back to us until we mad another request. The basin still had old blobs of toothpaste in and soap area was...

Good day Lesley, Thank you for your feedback. Please note that we are looking into the problem, and that it will be dealt with accordingly. If we could just ask when it was that you stayed with us, and if the problem was reported to a manager on duty, so that you were assisted with the towels. Kind regards

Everything about our stay was perfect. All the staff were extremely friendly. There is a warm and homely atmosphere. The rooms are clean and everything is in a working condition and the rooms are very comfortable. I cannot fault any aspect of our stay. Should we be lucky enough to visit the area again, we'll definitely stay there again.
