We recently did the Everest Base Camp Trek and decided to treat ourselves by staying overnight in one of the highest hotels in the world. The Hotel Everest View is about 90 mins walk up hill from Namche Bazar. Whilst the hotel is somewhat old and dated, it makes up for it so many

Thank you very much for staying with us during your EBC trek. It is indeed a great location to enjoy some comfort at the beginning/end of a challenging trek. It is great to hear that you liked our beds, we used the best down available for the blankets and good electric blankets. We are also going to be expanding our menu with a few more delicious items next season! Thank you very much once again for recommending us and we hope that you will visit us again.

Trekked up to the hotel during an acclimatization day at Namche. The views were breathtaking... best enjoyed over a hot cup of masala tea... on the beautiful terrace of the hotel. Friendly and willing staff are always ready and willing to assist.

Is it possible to ride off road motorcycles to the Hotel Everest View?
Definitely not. Sorry for delayed response. It is a steep 30-40 minutes hike up to start with. Then the path is flat but no way you can ride anything, horse perhaps’ on the initial ascent from Namche. Steep!

Dear Jimcindi I enjoyed reading your detailed review. What I am trying to know is whether i can fly to the hotel and stay two nights and fly back. I can not do long treks because of my physical disability - but i am capable to walking and boarding flights etc. My dream is to see everest but I am young and a South African with not a massive budget so i am trying to figure out a non-touristy way and reasonably cheaper way to see mount everest and the mountain range and meet the mountain people in order to fulfill my dreams! Thanks
Dear Audy and Mount Everest View hotel Is it possible to get a helicopter straight to your hotel as i have a physical disability and can not do the long trek. But ofcourse i would love the chance to see everest!
Hello, yes it is possible to get a helicopter directly to the hotel, could you please email us and we would be happy to discuss in more detail, thank you

I want to visit in 29 october this year, I have 2 year old boy, can i come? Is this time safe for my baby???
Not sure anyone answered. This hotel is at 3,880 meters. I think it is way too high for a 2 year old. I would not recommend. Advice you consult your pediatrician
