We stayed two nights for a family visit and were very pleased with the hotel. The rooms were excellent clean ,good facilities let down only by not having room service on one day, I would like to add that the staff were excellent friendly cheerful and I was particularly grateful , having left my phone in the bar to have...

I expected an old musty hotel with flowery torn wallpaper on the walls and worn carpet on the floors. Well we got just the opposite! The property is old but has been brought up to date. The room and bath were small but met our needs. Plenty of linens, coffee and good wifi. The staff were very accommodating. Noise was...

Just needs a bit of extra care and attention to detail. Room nice size and reasonably decorated, however net curtain hanging off, two or three hooks broken on each side had not been replaced. Such an easy fault to rectify which would have made so much difference. Bed had a too small duvet which hardly covered the mattress. The shower...

Room clean and tidy, bed and pillows comfortable. Bar food good, with quick service at breakfast and evening meal. Very busy pub in the early evening, can be difficult to get a table to sit and eat food. Plenty of outdoor space for Alfresco dining or drinking. Have stayed here a number of times and find most of the staff...

I've stayed here a couple of times before on business. The rooms aren't the biggest, but are clean and in good order. The beds are excellent, I'm thinking of replacing my mattress and will definitely be considering getting one of these. A great night's sleep. Had Eggs Benedict in the morning which was good but could've been a bit warmer....

Well, the hotel is in the middle of the town and I arrived on my own late on a Friday evening and it was already kicking off! Lots of people walking around town and the restaurant in the hotel was packed. You have to walk through the restaurant and go one flight upstairs to reception which was a bit awkward...

Room 112 was kind of small for a double, but suited my single person stay. Also, just outside the window was machinery that hummed all day and night. Luckily it was quite cold outside, so not many pub users outside, otherwise this maybe a problem in summer months. I found the bed and pillows, at first, to be lumpy, but...

We stayed with our 4 yr old granddaughter for 4 nights. Everything was fine. We had brought our own pillows as a review had said bedding wasn't great - but our beds and bedding was super, really good quality. Breakfast was good. Granddaughter loved the maple syrup pancakes. I tried them one day and wasn't keen. Husband very happy with...

We stayed here for a night and the room was very clean and the location of the hotel was excellent, right in the centre of town. The breakfast was very good, great value for money and really busy for a Sunday morning
