Visited with my wife and two boys aged 12 and 18. The Youth Hostel is excellent with a position on the hill side giving great views of the bay and coast. The staff ( Joe and Chris) are very friendly and helpful. Food was great and the hostel has loads pd space. The bike store was secure and spacious. As...

I only stayed for one night, but enjoyed it a lot! Clean facilities, a nice lounge, very nice breakfast room with great views and very, very friendly staff! The Kate Rugby music in the morning made my day! Thank you!

Can't beat a bit of Kate Rusby in the morning. A bit of modern British folk music lends itself to the setting and gently eases you into your day. Glad we could help misssophie91.

I cannot rate this youth hostel highly enough. Lovely family room with double bed and en suite. Marvellous sea views. Delicious and plentiful cooked breakfast. Extremely reasonable supper club where kids eat free. Kind and helpful staff who do absolutely all they can to make your stay fabulous. Coverack itself is a beautiful, unspoilt Cornish village. Perfection. Photos show the...

Thanks for that couldn't have said it better myself. Supper Club is a great option for families and gives our guests a chance to have a chat at the end of the day and swap stories about their day as well as ideas for things to do the next day

We had the family room which sleeps five including a double bed with amazing views over the sea and coastline. The evening meals and breakfasts provide were tasty and excellent VFM if you don't want to self cater. There is a very congenial atmosphere. The campsite is pretty, set in an orchard but make sure you pitch your tent with your...

Really enjoyed our stay here while doing some coastal path walking in the area for a few days. Coverack has a couple of small shops, or Helston is a 20 min drive away. Lots of beaches nearby on the Lizard, or Coverack has rocky ish beach at low tide. The Hostel was welcoming and clean with lounge, conservatory area to...

We do get very busy in the summer months and the self catering kitchen reflects this. Next time join us for Supper Club, no fight for the facilities and better still no washing up!

Nice location for our group of 24 hikers to take over completely, and nice sized communal rooms. Enjoyed the wall displays telling the story of the hostel and associated strip of coastline, not least the tale of the SS Mohegan which was wrecked on the nearby Mannacles rocks and whose bannister was salvaged and now adorns the hostel. The weak...

Its the coastal winds that have finished our windows off unfortunately!! You will be pleased to hear that there is a piece of work currently underway to get the windows sorted out which will make the whole place much cosier this winter

This family run hostel is a wonderful place to stay and in my case whilst walking the South West Coastal Path that fortunately runs right along through the delightful village of Coverack. This ex Edwardian family home is very well appointed with plenty of space indoors , a first class drying room and a pleasant lounge without the distractions of...

It certainly is!! Coverack is a little known Cornish village and it really is a hidden gem. Perfect for walking, family seaside holidays and as a base to explore all the local attractions. Roskillys ice cream farm is only up the road too, and it doesn't get better than that!

Have been several times to this lovely YH. It is set in an apple orchard and on top of hill so has gorgeous views over the rugged Cornish sea and cliffs - divine. Lovely room with magnificent view and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and staff very friendly. Only drawback was lack of ovenware containers which are essential if you...

Thanks for your review and suggestions Sue. We will get some oven dishes and cafettieres for the self caterers to use. Regarding the salt & pepper sachets and sauce sachets, these are available for those dining with us, self caterers just need to ask at reception.

We stayed 2 days in Coverack. As someone from continental Europe to drive to this place is an experience. But we enjoyed the stay. First of all the locations over the sea is very nice. If you go 100 m downhill you reach the harbor with some restaurants and cafes - not many 1-2 of each kind. We had a...
