We stayed at the hotel after hosting a birthday in a conference room in the hotel. The staff went above and beyond the entire time. They graciously made it clear that they were there to help make our event and stay memorable, and they did! They moved furniture in the reception area for our extended family photos, allowed us to store supplies in a small meeting room not in use, and allowed part of the family, in part due to Covid distancing, to meet, distanced, in the breakfast area. There were even nice touches such as preparing a huge dispenser of cucumber/mint infused ice water for our constant use. Our room was also graciously changed to be near our other family members. All areas of the hotel were also clean and well-equipped, including the pool and hot tub area. The conference room included a great long counter for our food, and the complimentary wifi and television allowed a family video to be watched. A good facililty for a small conference or workshop series! Above all, it was the reception staff who made our staff so positive and memorable. Well done! We'll be back.

I can’t say enough about this hotel. We stayed 2 nights with our U18 hockey team. Normally we’re treated as the plague which we totally understand but not here. The staff were amazing!! I forgot the front desk staff’s names, sorry!! But wow you guys need raises and kudos!! To be so warmly greeted, asked how your team did after every game and being proactive to support us all based on game times was unexpected. They actually told us we would all have late check outs if we ended up playing later on our last day. The rooms were beautiful, clean and cozy. The pool area well maintained and fun. Sundre was so pretty and quaint and met all our needs!

This was by far the best hotel experience we have ever had! The staff was very friendly and helpful for our teams stay during our Provincial hockey tournament. The hotel was very welcoming and the staff helped us with our every need. Shoutout to the staff for also driving a pair of skates 30 minutes to Olds when one of our players forget them in their room. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best overall experience for us!

Hotel staff do not know their own policies and lied about what they could do for our working crews. We were told when booking over the phone that it was no problem to have day shift and night shift in the same room so we booked. Day shift had no issues checking in, again reiterated the plan and names of night shift. Was told that it was NO PROBLEM... We (night shift) showed up at 7am to be told it is against their policy to allow shift workers in the same room. Refused to show us this policy or explain why. Refused to call the manager and told us to wait till 8:30am till they got to the hotel. We left, and our day shift checked out immediately so as to not get charged for another night. Hotel staff were useless and kept saying unfortunately there was nothing they can do... Wasted our time and our money.

Just to confirm as per management and hotel ownership we have a very strict policy that we do not allow day/night crews to share rooms. We appreciate all our oil and gas business very much but the options are for day shifts to share and night shifts to share or for staff to have their own room if your company will allow this. There are no exceptions in regards to day/night splits. This has been made clear to all oil/gas companies/offices that have dealt with us in the past and will continue moving forward. We just spent the night at this hotel while checking out our wedding venue. Amazing hotel and staff! The rooms are massive, have little coffee makers, microwaves and fridges. Everything was very clean and welcoming. Front desk staff were very helpful, even told us where to go for dinner. They have a little seating area in the lobby with free juices, snacks, cookies and coffee. In the morning their free breakfast includes yogurts, fruits, toast, oatmeal and breakfast sandwiches! And we enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the evening. Great stay for couples, business or families!

Second stay at this hotel in two years . Rooms are great , good eating area but due to Covid rather than buffet style breakfast we were supplied with Good breakfasts in a bag to take to our room. Great hot tub and pool. Staff very friendly and accommodating .

My husband and I stayed at this hotel with our daughter's basketball team and multiple other families/parents. The hotel is beautiful, and impeccably clean. The staff was so accommodating. At times I was worried that we'd invaded the space a bit too much, but they were so relaxed and let us use meeting rooms for the girls to gather, or parents to have a spot to get together in the evening. Initially I was disappointed there wasn't a full breakfast, but the ready-made breakfast sandwiches were perfectly fine and heated up as if they were fresh - no different than what you'd get next door at A&W. Another example of the amazing staff - they even brought up cookies for the team after they were done in the pool. The only negative moment was a man yelling at one of the girls at 1 in the afternoon because she was being to noisy in the hall while he was trying to sleep...eye roll...but I can imagine that night shifts would be a tricky thing.

As a hockey family, we stay in many hotels. The Mountain View Inn is 100% a cut above the rest. Friendly, clean, modern, and very accommodating. The staff congratulated us on our wins, followed our progress throughout the tournament and made sure the athletes and parents were comfortable for our 4 night stay. We even had a player forget his skates for one of our biggest games and one of the staff members drove the skates 30 minutes to the rink we were playing at!!! We will definitely be back to stay at this gem. ♥️

I would recommend this Inn to anyone. It is so clean, the staff are so friendly, everytime you come in from outside they say hi, and smile. Now that is the way the staff should be. They really make you feel welcome. They have complementary breakfast, and they will accomadate you any way they can. I wished more hotels would pay attention to this one. Keep up the great work.
