This is a great find for anyone wanting to explore the Champagne vineyards No8 is located within 20 mins drive of Eppernay and Reims. The property is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated with great rooms including comfy beds. The beautiful homely sitting room contains more books on wine than the average library. Our host Andy was charming and very helpful providing...

We travelled here last month with a couple of friends and it felt like our own holiday home as we were the only people staying there. The rooms and bathroom in the main house were spacious and clean - we didn't see the annexe. Breakfast was served at large farmhouse table (so communal style) and was the standard continental fare...

I stayed in the house for one night although I had booked the annex. Really clean and nicely decorated room. Comfy bed. Working heater and heated towel rail were great. Breakfast was coffee, juice and bread. As the owner suggests when you book, bring your own dinner and snacks as nothing nearby is open. The champagne house next door is...

Chosen for the location, this suited us as we wanted to explore the cham[agne area. Our host was relaxed and extremely helpful, with maps and suggestions about the area. Though I am fairly fluent in French, it was so much easier to discuss things in English. Our romm was large and comfortable with big en suite. A very good champagne...

We recently spent three nights here and it was first rate. Andy, the owner and host is always around to help with anything and he spent a great deal of his time researching things for us, not only locally but for our next spots, which we greatly appreciated. Our room was very comfortable and had a good bathroom and good...

We stayed at No8 last year (June 2014) so this is a slightly belated review. We stayed in the Annexe for 4 nights. Our room was lovely, very clean and well presented. We were also able to make use of the space downstairs so a couple of nights we could have a baguette and salad having had a large lunch...

Pretty easy to locate in the small charming village, Mailly-Champagne. Note that the sign you will see just says "Bed & Breakfast" (we were searching for something with "No8) As a base for exploring the Champagne region, it's a very nice location, about halfway between Reims and Epernay and directly on the "Route touristique de Champagne", but be aware that...

Andy a superb host, immaculate rooms lovely facilities , well situated in the champagne region, a minor issue was that we had a rather lumpy mattress ( our friends travelling with us didn't), good breakfast supplied and as everything was closed locally at the time of our visit Andy very kindly allowed us to picnic in the garden on a...

Pleasant stay in immaculate rooms. Generous breakfast. Our host was friendly and attentive. Surrounded by famous champagne names vineyards and rolling scenery. If we had been staying longer we would have enjoyed a glass of champagne in the garden.
