We stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast in July for 4 days and it was fantastic. Naomi was so gracious and spent as much time as we wanted discussing what to do for the day. In the end, we had so many lovely conversations with Naomi that when we left, she became a friend (not just a B and...

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely Bed and Breakfast. Naomi is a delightful and helpful hostess. She provided us with excellent recommendations for chateaux to visit. Her continental breakfast was very tasty- don't miss her homemade yogurt. As an American family with just a bit of French, it was also nice to have guidance in English. The...

We have spent 3 nights in La Bihourderie in August 2014. We have taken the suite, to accommodate 3 adults and 1 child. The place in itself is perfect, an old farm in the middle of the field, quite and peaceful. Yet, it is close to some of the castles on the valley (15-30 minutes by car) and very close...

For basic information look at the website. From personal experience I can say that La Bihourderie is a perfect location to tour the area south of Amboise. Naomi is a perfect host with excellent knowledge of what to see and when. Her advise on which chateaux to visit, the sequence and other places of interest was invaluable. It certainly helped...

If ever we are in the area we stay here. The rooms are excellent - tip top cleanliness and comfort, all modern with beautiful features. Breakfast is excellent. There is a lounge area where you can make tea and coffee and warm up any food - all fully equipped. Hosts are lovely people and full of information. It's only a...

We stayed at La Bihourderie for 3 nights, 11-13 July 2013. Our room was on the ground floor named Les Bles Jaunes which overlooked the countryside. It was very comfortable and clean, there was an exposed stone wall and beam which added character, the shower was a decent pressure. There was a kitchen/lounge area where tea/coffee is provided, you are...

My husband and I stayed here as a base for 3 nights and explored the Loire and several chateaus. While not in a town (you can't walk to dinner elsewhere), we felt the location was good and most of what we wanted to visit was within about a 45 minute drive. We ate dinner in nearby Loches twice and enjoyed...

We had the Iris Room for three nights which was spacious, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable large bed. In addition there was a shared kitchen/lounge area with tea/coffee/biscuits, plus facilities to make snacks or light meals. The garden area is very pleasant with lovely views over farmland. Naomi was very welcoming and made some excellent recommendations for...

My husband and I stayed at La Bihouderie for five nights. We stayed on the second level in the room named Les Tournesols, a beautiful room with a modern bathroom. La Bihouderie also has rooms at ground level, but we wanted to see the countryside from a distance. In addition to the usual chateaux, we would recommend making a day...

I travelled to France with my girlfriend to celebrate our joint birthdays and we picked this lovely B&B to stay in for 3 nights in the Loire. It's located only 10 minutes from the city of Loches, yet is in beautiful and quiet farmland. We stayed in the family suite, which was made up of 2 large bedrooms with a...

“The room we stayed in would work for 2 people travelling together, like us, or for 2 couples, or a family with children. There are other rooms which are probably designed more for 1 couple. The price is very very reasonable.”
