We went here for lunch recently during our stay at Runswick Bay. The food and the service were very good. Unfortunately we didn't get to return during our trip, but if ever we are the area, we will be back.
We came for an evening meal, the food was amazing, good value and plenty of choice, so good we came back the next night rather than going to the other restaurant ( we looked at the menu and thought it expensive).

Although it is very close to the beach it is on the Bank top and so , a very steep road directly opposite takes you down there. The alternative,if you are walking, is to walk up to the Cliffemount Hotel, about three hundred yards away , where you will find steps down offering spectacular views over the bay!!
