The Lodge shares a name with another facility around the same area. Lot's of confusion before we could locate this lovely gem. The road leading to the lodge is not so conducive for low cars. However our patience paid off. Hospitality- amazing; the decor awesome. Transport was provided for to and from the 40th birthday party we were attending. The...

I have been booking out the entire place for our accommodation for our guests for our wedding - I was told they can have 10 guests at R1000 per couple breakfast included. I've paid it and a week before our wedding when I gave our 5 couples name I was told that 2 couples have to share and the 1...

Wonderful attention to detail with both service and fine dining. We stayed in a stone cottage and its rustic African decor was the perfect introduction to South Africa for us Australian first time visitors to the country. Just a short drive down the road is a nice lion and rhino park. We were picked up from Impangele Game Lodge by...

This was by far the worst hospitality service experience I have ever had. My wife and I booked and paid for accommodation at Impangele Game Lodge, several months in advance, for a wedding we were attending at a nearby venue. On arrival, we were told that they had overbooked their facilities. Their solution was to offer us a full refund,...

I stayed at Empangele lodge for two nights with my partner. What a wonderful stay this was. From the moment of booking the stay, right through to check out, was handled professionally and efficiently. We stayed in the luxury tent which was surprisingly private with our own braai facility and a gorgeous outdoor shower. The tent itself was lovely and...

Although it's about an hour from the Johannesburg airport, Impangele Game Lodge provided a warm, welcoming atmosphere when we arrived after a 14-hour flight from Australia. Host, Pierre, couldn't have been kinder and the atmosphere and decor were quite different from anything we have seen on our other travels - and VERY South African in style. It was great to...

What a wonderful place! and seeing animals just roaming around was a cherry on top. I really enjoyed my stay and Impangele Game Lodge and I will definately be back, even if its just for the delicious meals Pierre so wonderfully prepared! All the meals we freshly prepared and so beautifully displayed on the plate. The room was spacious, the...

I want to mention that we are both flight attendants so we travel quiet a lot, but that was from far the best place we have seen! Everything is...
