We hosted a ladies' soriee with the Marion and they went above and beyond for us making the occasion a very memorable one. From Issac, our professional and exceptional waiter, to the venue coordinator, Thelma, we really couldn't have been more pleased. We highly recommend this establishment for small intimate events as they provide an amazing ambiance with delectable food...

I booked a get away for my husbands birthday. The aim was a 5 star relaxing, quiet pamper stay at a 5 star boutique hotel. It's was a shocking experience. They has events booked the entire stay. It was constantly noisy and on the Saturday evening we came down to have dinner to be told there was no space for...

Beautifully and luxuriously appointed room with awesome bathroom including soaker tub. Our room included a small balcony and nespresso maker. Had dessert both nights and they were phenomenal - one chocolate and one fruit - phenomenal! The internet was too slow to do any work, although that could have been specific to our room and it is pretty far from...

Five-star food, great service and ample and safe parking. Close enough to the business district yet set in a suburb. The power tripped a few times during one presentation but excusable as there was some construction going on in the street nearby.

The hotel has a luxurious intimate ambiance with good quality bedding. The room was nice and dark and I especially love the BVLGARI amenities. I did like the fact that it was not a buffet breakfast; great food, but it took some time so I suggest arriving early if you have a meeting scheduled.

Nice however could improve, the spa is located in a small area which makes one not to get the very best that could be offered. The restaurant is nice and cosy best for intimate / small group. The ambiance at the hotel is perfect! Perfect boutique hotel.

Beautiful room and high quality bed - great sleep which is so important when away from home and up early with a busy day. Not sure I like the toilet open behind glass - glad I was there alone. Food was average - expected spectacular food given the price. Service in the lounge was a challenge to attract someone to...

I recently hosted a corporate event at The Marion. The venue is really gorgeous, a boutique hotel that has an amazing cafe bistro set up for small intimitate functions. Decor was stunning and the food was excellent , hats off to the chef. Now for the bad part, which despite all of the above , any great establishment is defined...

I stayed here before - 1 year ago. More than happy to return for a follow up visit. Very spacious and clean rooms with inclusive wi-fi (a MUST). Very friendly staff. If you don't know Jhb and plan to drive to the hotel by car from the airport - make sure to get a GPS included in the car rental...

My husband and I like to plan a monthly weekend getaway - just some quite quality us time. We have stayed at many Jhb hotels over the last few months. However the pics on the website are not a true reflection - the bathroom was tiny and there is an option to indulge in a luxury bath with added bath...
