We booked two single rooms for one night. Rooms were comfortable in an old fashioned style with a small but smart en suite facility. It was really quiet in spite of a busy road being nearby and we both had a great night's sleep. The dinner menu was very varied, we were spoilt for choice and what we chose was...

Three of us had lunch here today. There are two menus, one being cheaper than the other although neither very expensive. We all chose off the cheaper one. Two had fish and chips with tartare sauce and mushy or garden peas. All fine and only just over a fiver (sorry can't remember actual price). I had the smokey bean chilli...

This was a last minute trip to Bath and everywhere else was full. Had superior room with a newly refurbished bathroom. Also had dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Room and food were both excellent. Will definitely be back. Only one tiny gripe - could a shelf be put in the lovely walk in shower, there was no where to...

Room clean & comfortable. Lovely bathroom with shower & bath facilities. Was a little surprised that there was no wardrobe to hang your clothes. Duvet was feather but all the feathers were clumped together making it very lumpy! Eventually this was changed. Bed was nice & comfy. Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice, cereal fruit, croissants & cooked options. Staff...

Stopped off for lunch on our way home North. Plenty of parking. Cozy homely feel inside. Small bar which also served the restaurant. Found a table quickly and given menu. Did have to wait quite a while even though it was not full, plenty of free tables. Only seemed like two people serving the whole restaurant. Unfortunately each time we...

Stopped by for a light lunch after visiting Westonbirt Arboretum. Restaurant was very busy, so had to wait a short time for a table. Food was very good, but service a bit slow. Drinks service also slow.

Stayed here to be close to Westonbirt Arboretum and somewhere that had a car park. We received a warm welcome. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. It was a standard room and was 'compact'! But there was enough space space to put your things and all the amenities you would expect. Our bathroom was in need of...

We stopped here for Sunday lunch. When I enquired about whether we could bring the dog inside I found the bar man to be unwelcoming and frosty, he said we could but whatever table we could find free would be what we had to have. We found a small table and when we looked at the menu we realised you...

Thank you for your post. All of our Sunday roasts are served with seasonal vegetables, large Yorkshire puddings, crisp roast potatoes, mash and gravy. You may add extras on top of this for £1.00 each. We apologise for the mis-understanding of our menu. Please contact us if you would like to discuss this further. George, Colette and the team.
