My wife stayed in this Finca for 4 nights. We like bed & breakfasts because of the personal contact with the owners and other guests. We were not disappointed at Finca Las Encinas. Clive, Maki and their son Cei are wonderful hosts. They create a relaxed vacation atmosphere. The Finca is a small building; the rooms are clean, good bed...

An extensive and unique region of low mountains in rural Andalusia that is covered almost entirely by olive groves that march in every direction as far as the eye can see. Hilly, twisting roads. The B&B is set within the small Los Juncares community setting - which is made up of older homes and a school and gathered fairly closely...

Had a fantastic stay at Finca Las Encinas. What made it great was the owners' fantastic knowledge of the area, their readiness to help plan and arrange things to do/see in the area, and the out-of-this-world dinners and breakfasts. Would definitely suggest eating there in the evenings as Clive is a trained chef who uses local ingredients to prepare the...

We had a vacation of 1 week at Finca Las Encinas with our grandparents. The location is great for both Granada, Cordoba and Antequera to visit. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal to. We would like to thank Clive and Maki for the good care and extra attention they gave to grandma with diabetes! Hanne & Simon

We found this beautiful little B&B by accident, and are so glad that we did! Las Encinas is at easy driving distance from Malaga, even though it is certainly hidden and off the beaten track, which makes it such a gem. Maki and Clive are wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome. The house is a beautifully and lovingly renovated...

Maki and Clive have done an incredible job creating an amazing, authentic, thoroughly gastronomic retreat. I went with golearnto.com and combined cookery lessons with horseriding and found that Dorcas (owner of the Riding school - Cortijo Las Minas) complimented Maki and Clive's relaxed approach to imparting the truely Andalucian ways and I had possibly the best holiday I have ever...

After an eventful journey we received such a warm welcome from Clive, Maki, Cei and their dogs. I have to agree with the comments from the previous writer - delicious dinners, great breakfasts and a beautiful setting, iznajar is an unspoilt gem. We did a package including a cooking lesson and horse riding (I have to plug our riding school...

After viewing many reviews on trip advisor we decided to stay at Finca las Encinas and it was very much worth it! We travelled around Andalusia in mid October for a last minute trip and so the day time temperature was warm enough to wear short sleeves but at night it gets a bit chilly. You definitely need a car...

Selfishlly, we would like to keep this Finca a secret, but this would be alien to the generosity of spirit found here. Maki has an eye for detail in ensuring her guests' comfort, and will offer knowledgeable advice on places to visit. Clive, like all expert chefs, is a champion of local produce ( prepare to be treated to " Spains'...
