We spent a weekend here and did some sailing on the lake. The staff, service and rooms are all first class. It is in a fantastic location and the sunset atmosphere on the terrace is just superb. We enjoyed two great evenings here with good wine and above average food. The Black Angus bbq was superb. All staff we dealt with were extremely helpful, attentive and caring. They make very good use of the spaces, sitting areas, bar etc and breakfast in the large courtyard was delightful.

A well run establishment with pleasant sun terrace and pool. Attentive staff and quality typical Spanish breakfast. Plenty of hot water, clean towels daily. Pretty isolated. Visitors with reduced mobility ( like me ) will be given a ground floor room

This hotel was a lovely surprise. Just outside Iznajar it's very convenient to reach by car. We were welcomed by Natalia who couldn't do enough to give us local advice - then seemed to be everywhere doing everything all day long. The evening restaurant is on a terrace with a barbecue. We watched the harvest moon rise over the lake and village. If you're into watersports you can drive straight over the uncrowded beach to the shore - even in high Summer. The hotel has a neat outdoor swimming pool - but there's a big public pool within walking distance. Parking up to the front door is easy and free. This is an ideal venue for a family or friends gathering of any size. We will visit again. Strongly recommended.

We’ve lodged for 6 days in this nice and cosy Spanish hotel. Rooms are big and clean. It’s located close to the lake and 1 km from beautiful downtown Iznajar. The rastaurant serves great food at a fair price. The hospitality is really wonderful, people are friendly and are very helpful. Check events is this hotel before you book! This hotel is popular with Spanish families for having family reunions, parties and weddings...sounds great but just know that it’ll be very noisy. Hotel is recommendable for couples and families.

Nice, for some reason only two starred hotel. Clean room, good bed, and an AC unit, which in the middle of October was handy for heating(!) for a few hours in the middle of the night. Plenty of free parking places, a nice garden with pool, and very good WiFi in the room: I even watched a live football ("soccer" as the call it in Trump country) game from England without any disturbances. Located far from the "Iznajarsk" city center, so we "had" to eat at the hotel. The grill menu had three meat alternatives: pork fillet, entrecôte 450 g, and beef 600 g. I did not want to eat 450 g or more, so I ordered the pork. OMG, it was at least 700 g! But it was very good, and I managed to eat at least half of it. And in the morning the breakfast, included in the room price, was very good and more than sufficient: Bread, ham, cheese, jamon, chopped tomato salsa and two home made marmalades with coffee or tea. The staff was very nice and spoke good English. The only thing I complain about is the lighting. Both in the restaurant and in the room, but especially in the bathroom.

Alter 60k on bicycle, under a strong rain in a very cold day, we arrived looking for a hot shower. The clerk practically moved us out the hotel to say: “we have a problem with your reservation, we have a marriage here, we propose to relocate you to another hotel” Tired, I agreed. The other hotel was an apartment, Nice, but not a hotel. We were freezing and no hot shower, some problem with the Boiler. The main problem, was the clerk reception, looking for two cyclists, wet and freezing, saying : I recomend you to move for another place.

We stayed at this hotel as we were on a cycling holiday around Andalusia. It was a very friendly well run hotel - mainly done by the young lady who when we arrived had her back to us looking for something in the cupboard behind her reception desk. We later learnt that she was the most versatile member of the whole hotel team! Not only did she serve me drinks from the bar on several occasions, but I saw her laying the restaurant for dinner, and sweeping it. Helped us get our bikes into a safe place to charge and then proceeded to serve us at dinner as well. Then in the morning..... well where do I start she served us breakfast (along with all the other people staying and there were a few) and then she had to be in reception as well to let people check out. And then,,,,,,, to her dismay my husband had got a bit of a flat tyre on his bike and she proceeded to get her bike repair kit out also, talking it through with some one (In between I watched her go and serve breakfast to the local Guardi and other guests!) WOW..... what a girl! She should be CEO (someone on the ground but knows who to do it!) Well done and lovely service with a smile (not sure how you manage it!) Thank you again.
