My wife and I stayed there for a few nights and overall experience was delightful. It worth noting the killer feature of this place is location. Only a couple minutes distance divides you from the best beach on the whole island! Moreover, I would like to give a special shout out to Jan as the most caring and friendly receptionist I’ve ever met.
Staff were excellent and really went out of their way to help and resolve any issues immediately. All of the hotel personnel were extremely friendly and welcoming and made the extra effort during the Songkran holiday, including but not limited to Khun Bumbin, Khun Day, and Khun Dan. I will be returning to Phuket in a few weeks for the Marathon and will certainly look to add a few more days to my trip and stay again at Chanalai Garden Hotel. The location of the property was excellent too, both for the beach, shops, restaurants and massage places nearby.

Felt compelled to write a review, because the hospitality was great here. From ort first moment arriving we were personally welcomed by the head bell man, and were given welcome drinks as we waited. Throughout the stay, the guest relations manager and food and beverage manager were always on top of things, making sure we were comfortable. I even witnessed 2 seperate birthday songs and dances at breakfast. Nice job!
Our parents have stayed here before the COVID lockdown in 2019 and were much surprised with hotel value-for-money and beauty of the hotel in general, situated in the blossoming garden with 3 pools. In 2023 January after examination of hotel pictures we decided to choose Chanalai Garden for our holidays. Good things about the hotel: beautiful view on the sea, good location, short track for the beach and for the city center, not noisy, beach is super for snorkeling, very helpful & involved staff, ready to help, but with quite poor English language - be ready to use google translate , room cleaning is on high level, good looking hotel entrance and reception, all of the necessary small things in the room - tea kettle, hygienic items, etc. Among the staff I would like specially to note Kitty & Pang Pond. Generally, our expectations were not met: 1. on the territory there are many desolated places, covered with dust, which you see, passing by as well as for instance the places, where the old refrigerators are stored, in some of the elevators there is nasty smell 2. We went through 3 rooms before we have chosen the relatively good one, although it is still the trade-off - the curtain in the bathroom is old and is musty, the mirror in the bathroom has the signs of humidity damage, taps are covered with calcareous raid, air conditioner is quite noisy. 3. The meals during the breakfast is not as diverse or changing as in other hotels, which is important if you stay long - no fresh fish for sandwiches, many food positions are not delicious - cheese, pancakes, sausages, the traditional tai soup with noodles is too sweet, no loose leaf tea - only in teabags, poor coffee. 4. Fair wine card. We celebrated here the Chinese New Year and booked the evening party, offered by the hotel. By the staff we were advised to choose the wine the day before to receive the early-bird discount. When we came for the dinner, we were told that they have ran out of it. How is it possible, when we booked it the day before and were choosing among 2 sparkling wines (there were only 2 positions). We would be happy if the hotel management pay attention to the drawbacks, mentioned above with the purpose not to lose those guests, who are expected to choose the hotel for the next stay.…
I am so happy with my stay here. A nice, spotless room with a stunning sea view, adequate breakfast options, and a breakfast table. Staff members are knowledgeable and helpful; a special thanks to Ms. Jen for assisting us with our transfer issue. We had a great time and heartily suggest a trip to this lovely location.
