We booked a family room for two nights and I can honestly say there is nothing negative I can say about this hotel, service was excellent and the restaurant was good. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble, I would like to say that the staff at breakfast service were excellent and I will be recommending this hotel... More

We were taken here by our Daughter for Sunday Carvery . We arrived on time but they weren't ready for us so we went to the bar .unfortunately there was no where to sit as all the tables were covered in plates and no one seemed to bother about clearing them .We finally had to ask for our table again... We stayed at Breckland Lodge on a Friday in May for an overnight in a Premium Double room facing the front entrance. Blinds and curtains to close for privacy. The bedrooms are in a separate building to the restaurant/bistro but only a hop skip and a jump across from the front entrance of the reception desk. Nice enough room, but... More

24 of us ate here for lunch on a pre-booked arrangement. We had a range of menu choices and the food was impressively good (and ample portions too). There is also a carvery, which we didn't take advantage of, but which looked to offer top quality meats. Service was prompt, efficient and helpful. Yes, the restaurant does perhaps lack character,... We arrived 30 mins late for lunch with a prebooked coach of 45 people. They had tables ready and by the time we got drinks and we're seated they started bringing out the food. Everyone said the food was excellent and plentiful although some ordered more than they could manage. We ended up back on schedule thanks to the amazing... More

I have used the Breckland lodge a few times whilst working in the area. The accommodation is warm and relaxing. The food is of high quality, and the staff are welcoming. I would not hesitate in booking accommodation here again when in the area.

Good check in, quick and efficient. Very good room and nice bathroom. Good wifi. Comfy bed. Foam pillows a bit too puffy for me. Restaurant is ok with a big list of dishes. Pub grub and some a la carte. A bit characterless in the dining area. Weird set up for breakfast which you have to pay for separately. You... More
