A place to enjoy nature at its finest. Great host great nature, not for city folks or people afraid of nature. Lots of creatures to entertain you. Highly recommend. Close to town and beach but far enough to enjoy peace of mind

We stayed in one of the bungalows and it was simply amazing. Wildlife right outside every day and night...doesn’t get much more jungle-real than this. If you done like insects, stay home...if you do and want to be close to nature (birds, monkeys, sloths, and yes insects) then this is where you want to be!

Really lovely clean comfortable place surrounded by nature, Irene pointed out the tree frog one evening which was wonderful. For some reason one of the sloughs liked outside our lodge in a smaller tree so great sightings. Breakfast was great with fresh eggs, warm bread and fruit surrounded by hummingbirds dashing about ! Doesn't get any better then that! Many thanks

This gem of a lodge sits within grounds that were once cleared for cocoa growing, but are now rapidly being reclaimed by the jungle. The surrounding area is therefore rich in wildlife. We stayed here for 3 nights in late November and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Irene and Wolfgang were the kindest of hosts and you can clearly tell they put a huge amout of effort into the place. Our lodge was very comfortable, and breakfasts on the main verandah were excellent! Highly recommended for people who like to stay in a quiet place surrounded by nature. Just follow the signs coming off the main road, and don't be put off by the potholes.

Room Tip: All lodges are close to each other and surrounded by forest, so there is little difference...

We stayed the last two days in the beautiful house right in the jungle. Irene pointed out where the monkeys, iguana, sloths and other wildlife roam. We had a big, clean room, with a comfortable bed. The hammock on the terrace was great for listening to the jungle sounds and watch the monkeys play. The beach and shops are a little drive away, but it's worth since you are far away from noise, road and the other tourists Any time again!
