From the moment we arrived at LaPalapa, Rolando, Audrey and all of the staff made us feel right at home. The room was adequate and clean. The shower worked well and the view from the veranda was priceless. The only thing I'd do differently is pack alot less stuff...all you need are cover ups, flip flops, bikini bottoms and voila! Having William Fonseca as our guide was the icing on the cake!
Spend 9 days in Tamarindo and Hotel Lapalapa was awesome, great location clean room and very comfortable, Ronaldo is super friendly and always ready to help, all that at 3 step from beautiful playa Tamarindo. Great vacation.
We booked through Priceline and the pictures were no where's near what we got. The shower didn't work, the electrical didn't work, there were filthy cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, bathroom was a dump with smashed tiles, door wouldn't close, and light fixtures of just light bulbs and no curtain on the bathroom window with people right outside the window. The screens were all torn on the window and door. I wouldnt get in the bed and stayed awake all night in fear of burning to death in an electrical fire. When I confronted the staff I got a shoulder shrug. They had my money at that point. Disgusting!!! Stay away from this place.
We booked 7 nights, left after one night. They’re rebuilding the place so its super shabby, noicy and dirty. Worst over priced place I’ve ever been. Most of the pictures are from another place as well.. Dont go there
The location and the grounds are great. The staff are very helpful and friendly There are improvements being done and more need to be done of which I am sure that they are aware of. Matter of cash input I think At present it is clean basic accommodation at a very reasonable price with use of a kitchen and some good eateries nearby
