In summary: Poor service No running water on several occasions Expensive General lack of maintenance Beautiful setting, especially the beach, shame about the rest .... The hotel complex, which is very appealing, is sat one side of the coastal road, and the beach complex the other, although the road is not particularly busy. It appears the hotel was built very...

Man is this place beautiful. A bit outside The main part of town but it was nice to be out of the busyness. We stayed in a superior room and I was a little bit nervous it wouldn't be worth the higher price tag but it was worth every penny. We had a second floor room with a private balcony...

I stayed 2 nights in the superior room from 2/26-27/2017… the hotel has a beautiful luxury rain setting with all comfort amenities and my room was spacious and clean; it definitely met my expectation. The staff was super helpful and nice. The beach was nice and clean, the ocean seem slightly rough, but no reflection on the hotel or staff.

White as the sand and green for the vegetation, tropical plantes. You walk in between the flowers and the small forest on top wood steps on the floor. These wood steps guide you to the beach or the bar or the restaurant. Cocles beach is titled as one of the most romantic of the area. Trees on the beach give...

I was originally booked into this boutique hotel because the hotel I actually wanted to stay at couldn't accommodate me for the first two days of my holiday. I arrived at about half midnight after a 5 1/2 hour drive from San Jose, so went straight to my room and crashed. When I awoke in the morning the first thing...

The beauty of this property is unrivaled. The natural setting is peaceful and rejuvenating. For the most part we were very pleased with our 5-night stay. The staff was kind and accommodating, the beach area was well-maintained, and the breakfast menu (included) was varied. The room decor was white, with pops of color (which changed daily) - peaceful. Only 2...

We booked the Le Chameleon for the last 4 days of our Costa Rica whirlwind adventure as we wanted somewhere to unwind after a lot of driving. It was definitely quite a bit more than what we had been spending on accommodation but in the end it was worth it. When we arrived we were greeted with drinks and our...

I will give Le Cameleon a great review with a couple of areas for improvement... The hotel is unique and charming, also elegance in a jungle type setting is quite remarkable. It all goes, it's beautiful, it's quite, it's refreshing and appearance all around; at check-in, the pool, restaurant, grounds and room itself will leave You saying "Booking.Yeah"... The location...

Excellent hotel... It is expensive but it totally worth it! The rooms are very nice and clean... everything white and simple. Breakfast was included and consisted of a selection of different dishes very tasty from clasical local "gallo pinto" to french toasts and fruits and coffee... really good! Also they have a beach club in front of the hotel... just...

We drove over from San Jose, about 4 hours, and we were pleasantly greeted with drinks as we checked in. The rooms are very spacious, and we followed the boardwalk along the pool to our rooms. The deck on the rooms really sits right in the jungle and the vegetation is amazing. The beds were ok, the bath large with...
