We stayed here as a family of 4 including 2 adults and 2 children aged 4 & 8. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. The house is off a main road, tucked safely away behind a tall white fence and gate with lock for privacy and safety. Once through the gate a very spacious entrance with space to store bikes if you decide to hire some during your stay. Outside the front door is a tap-very useful for washing the sand off shoes and feet from beach day’s. Once through the front door we were wowed by the very spacious and light open planned room! Clean, smooth lines, tiled flooring, a breakfast bar with stools which ran off the well equipped kitchen. Stocked with a brand new electric hob, microwave and oven and a good size fridge-freezer. In the centre of the living space is a table big enough to get 6/8 people around it. Either side of this is a beautifully furnished sofa. Both of which pull out into beds making a very comfortable sleeping space for 4 adults. Incredibly comfortable mattresses! Our two children often happily shared one single mattress between the two of them. The house is decorated beautifully. Fresh and clean with a decorative mirror in the living space, stylish windows and sliding doors throughout and minimalistic white curtains with tie backs that can let air and light in when you want to keep the bugs out! Having said this, we had no problems with any unwanted pests at all. Each window has been fitted with very nice white wooden shutters which made it possible to have air flowing through whilst keeping the creatures out and also kept the cool air in when we had the fan or air conditioning unit on. The sliding doors in the living space open into a wonderful enclosed terrace and garden area. Made homely and comfortable with reclining deck chairs, outdoor seating which can surround a very large beautiful fixed table which sits on the grass. Within the outdoor space is a fantastic built in bbq with a tall chimney to expel any smoke away from the garden and house. Close by is worktop space and an outdoor sink. A convenient shower is also in the garden along with some beautiful green lemon trees! The accommodation sits in great position to enjoy the sun, whilst the terrace provides shade. We were very impressed to find a state-of-the-art washing machine tumble dryer which worked very well and was very appreciated! Following on from the living room was a doorway into the main master bedroom-beautiful natural lighting, a huge bed with clean, fresh white linen. Again, exceptionally comfortable mattress and really big enough for 4 adults so 2 will find there is plenty of space! Useful storage in the bedroom and a beautiful en-suite shower room consisting of further storage, a very large walk in shower, sink and toilet. Very tastefully and practically tiled and decorated. A second large matching shower room is situated at the front of the house which made using the facilities no battle :) The house came fully stocked with enough towels and kitchen tea towels for us throughout our stay and the whole apartment was cleaned regularly and linen changed too. The staff who helped with the maintenance, booking of the room, housekeeping and anything that we needed during our stay really went above and beyond and exceeded all of our expectations. Definitely on par with any 5 * hotel we have visited in Europe. Food was on offer from 4pm every day at the truly exceptional Italian inspired restaurant along the private road just 2 minutes walk away. Do look up La Pecora Nera and do be sure to go there! Bellissima casa ottimamente arredata con letti king molto grandi. Dotata di tutto in cucina. Pulita e silenziosa. Di fronte una spiaggia molto bella. I propietari sono gestori di un ristorante(la pecora negra) dove si mangia in maniera squisita.
